Gray Whale: Unit 35C Lot 44. Lovely single level contemporary home attractively furnished with unobstructed wide blue water views. Gray Whale house will sleep six people comfortably with its three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom includes a comfy window seat with meadow views for curling up with a good book and watching the deer, foxes, rabbits, and birds that frequent the meadow just outside. A sliding glass door from the master bedroom leads you to the large deck with hot tub and Adirondack chairs for ocean and wildlife viewing. The first guest bedroom has blue water and meadow views and is conveniently located just steps from the guest bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The second guest bedroom has two twin beds for children or singles with a bathroom containing a walk-in shower nearby which is shared with the master bedroom.
The living room has comfortable couches and chairs with enough seating for the whole family to watch a movie by streaming from their own Netflix or Hulu accounts on the TV. Live TV is provided with YouTube TV. WiFi is available throughout the house for all your connectivity needs. The wood burning stove will keep you cozy in the cool months with firewood provided in the outside enclosure. Please do bring your own kindling if you plan to use the wood stove.
The Del Mar Trail crosses the meadow near the home and connects to the Bluff Top Trail for miles of hiking the coastline. On wild weather days white water sprays from waves can be seen from the deck and hot tub. And occasionally, you can see the water spray from passing whales!
A gas grill is available for use in the front gravel drive area to reduce the risk of fire. The light filled kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals in house while staying at Gray Whale and the dining table has seating for six.
The Del Mar Recreation Center is a bike ride away with access to a heated swimming pool, saunas, showers, and tennis courts (bring your own racket and balls!).
We are a dog friendly home. Sheets and towels are not provided, bring your own or rent them from Beach Rentals.
SEA RANCH AND SONOMA COUNTY GUIDELINES Drones are strictly prohibited in The Sea Ranch. Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm and 7am every day. No outdoor amplified sound is allowed at any time day or night. Dogs must be leashed and cannot be left unattended. Maximum number of vehicles at house shall be 3 (three), parked in driveway. No RV's. Maximum occupancy is 6 for this home.
