Originally built in the 1940s, this charming home has been fully remodeled inside, blending modern comforts with historic touches — from its marble countertops and tile floors to original hardwood, reclaimed tongue‑and‑groove boards, and the unique floor grate that inspired its name.

This 2‑bedroom, 1‑bath home features a full kitchen, formal dining area, laundry access, and a comfortable living room with a pull‑out couch. Outside, enjoy a fenced backyard with a spacious patio, grill, fire pit, fire table, and outdoor seating.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
-If you leave before 11am please message us and let us know -Collect trash from bathroom and kitchen. Please place it in large trash bin outside in the backyard.
-Please leave bedding. We ask that you do not re make the used beds. -Place any used blankets in front of one of the beds as well. -Dishwasher cleaning pods can be found under the sink.
-Towels: Please toss all towels in the hamper in the laundry room. -Rugs: Please place the kitchen rugs on the bench in the dining room. This helps our roomba vacuum not get into unnecessary fights.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

Pet needs to be house trained (no peeing/pooping/chewing). No pets on furniture.
The renter is responsible for complying with these regulations and the renter will be cited or fined by the City of Searcy for violations.
It is the renters responsibility not to trespass onto the property surrounding the Grate House
