Spotless and exactly as pictured!The owners were very communicative, and solved one small issue we had as quickly as humanly possible. The house really is beautiful and the pictures are accurate. Most important, it was CLEAN! I would have eaten off the floors on arrival!Those are the most important things to me: accuracy of the listing, cleanliness and helpful owners! I will say that the kitchen is beautiful but sparingly stocked—so if you love to cook, you will need to plan around limited cookware. (No whisk, no pan to make a lasagne or brownies in, very small colander, no serving platters, only 6 cereal/soup bowls—that kind of thing.) The espresso maker and milk warmer/foamer were very nice to have, but if you need regular coffee you should pack your coffee maker.All that said, the location was great and we were 6 adults and we had 2 bad weather days and had plenty of room—never felt crowded. The roof deck is lovely especially at sunset and the views of the bay were great. It’s a straight walk to the beach and Brian and Missy have everything you need for a great day at the beach—wagon, umbrella, boogie board, chairs and loungers as well as a cooler to bring lunch and drinks with you. Seaside Heights is walkable (or a 2 min drive!) and so you have the fun of the boardwalk and the quiet of Ortley in one spot. We really had such a great week!

Family Week at the Shore

Our whole family enjoyed staying at this beautiful and comfortable home. On the bay with sunset views, we had happy hours on the rooftop deck and morning coffee on the front porch. Inside, the bedrooms and common areas were spacious, clean and well appointed. We loved the patio and gas grill while playing corn hole and ping pong in the basement playroom. Getting from the bay to the ocean was easy and direct, walk in ten minutes or drive in two. There was plenty of beach gear including chairs, an umbrella, and a beach wagon available to use. The owners were accommodating and friendly, making our stay easy and effortless. A truly lovely home away from home!

Family beach getaway!

Missy's home is absolutely spectacular! Beautifully decorated, great location, and the perfect place for a family vacation. We loved the rooftop deck, backyard, ample parking, and open floor plan of the home. From start to finish, Missy was extremely kind, helpful, and communication was seamless making this an all around great experience. Highly recommend and hope to stay again soon!
