Cougar Mountain Retreat with hot tub, sauna, and 3 floors of lake views!

A mountain cabin feel only minutes away from both Seattle and Bellevue! Exposed beams with three stories of wall to wall views of Lake Sammamish and surrounding mountains make our house something out of the ordinary. With a private hot tub and sauna, an air hockey/ping table, fully stocked gourmet kitchen, lots of baby gear and games for kids, an amazing master suite, great guest rooms, and lots of indoor and outdoor living space, the house is perfect for creating lasting memories together!

With 3 floors of living space, the home is perfect for multi-generational families as well as business retreats. Recently renovated, minutes away from both Seattle and Bellevue (MSFT, T-Mobile, SBUX, Google, Boeing), with a PNW cabin feel! Exposed beams and three stories of wall to wall views of Lake Sammamish and surrounding mountains make our house something out of the ordinary. Relax in the hot tub or sauna, gather on our extensive decks with breathtaking views, a gas fire-pit, and fire-table dining set - you won't want to leave!

We have set the house up to be as convenient as possible for those traveling with children. For infants and toddlers, we have a playpen, pack and play/crib, vibrating baby bouncer, high chair, and baby toys. For the bigger kids we have an air hockey/ping pong table, fooseball table, ladder toss, and an assortment of family friendly games.

With inviting living & dining areas, a great gourmet kitchen, four generously sized bedrooms, hot tub, sauna, and televisions in all bedrooms and living areas, it's perfect for a family vacation, romantic getaway or to stay in while working in the area.

The ground floor features a family room with a new down filled sectional couch, television with cable, wet bar with wine fridge, extra full sized refrigerator, gas fireplace, ping pong/airhockey table, fooseball table, books and games, a full bath, sauna, and a full size day bed.

The 2nd floor has a living room with a large, beautiful new down filled modular couch, television with cable , dining room with seating for 6-8, kitchen with counter dining for four, a full bath, and two queen sized guest bedrooms each with televisions and closets.

The third floor has a king master bedroom, queen guest room, small open office area, and a full bath. The master features a private deck with outdoor couch, expansive closet, and a private sink with vanity. The queen guest bedroom does not have a closet as it is locked for owner storage.

Outdoor areas: Ground level has a wrap around patio with outdoor furniture and covered hot tub. The 2nd floor has an expansive wrap around deck with incredible lake views, new bbq grill, a large outdoor couch, fire pit, and dining fire-table. 3rd floor has a private deck with outdoor couch off master

We stock the house fully and try to anticipate everything you might need. All bedrooms have easily accessible outlets and usb ports next to each bedside. We have a kuerig and a standard drip coffee maker and stock coffee, k cups, and various sweeteners. We have a well stocked kitchen with lots of spices and basic pantry items and all the kitchen utensils you could every need. We are very responsive to our guests needs and will respond immediately should you encounter anything that you need during your stay.

Please note that only registered guests are allowed to be on the property at any time unless you get prior approval. We do not permit parties or gatherings.

The expansive deck offers stunning views of Lake Sammamish. Unwind on the spacious outdoor couch around the propane fire pit. A new BBQ grill is conveniently located next to the outdoor dining table, which also includes its own fire pit. The lower patio boasts multiple seating areas and a private, professionally maintained hot tub.

We have quiet hours between 10pm and 7am as this is a quiet residential neighborhood and our neighbors have small children. We do not permit hot tub use during these times.

For all direct and VRBO reservations, you will be sent a guest verification notification by our trusted platform for identity and background screening.

Kid-Friendly
The property is kid-friendly; however, please note that it has stairs, elevated surfaces, and outdoor decks. We kindly ask that children are supervised at all times to help ensure their safety.

Smoking/Vaping
No smoking/vaping anywhere on the property. Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited inside the home. Any evidence of smoking indoors will result in a $500 violation fee, in addition to the cost of cleaning and odor remediation to remove smoke, odors, and residue. Violations may also result in the immediate termination of your stay without a refund. If you choose to smoke or vape, please do so off the property.

Pets
We welcome friendly and well behaved dogs only for an additional fee. Pets are not allowed on the bed or any furniture (we kindly ask you not to book please if your dog is unable to stay off the furniture).

Pet Policy
We love hosting your furry companions! To help maintain the cleanliness and comfort of our space for all guests, an additional pet fee will apply based on the length of your stay:
7–14 Days: $200 for 1 pet
14–30 Days: $350 for 1 pet, $500 for 2 pets
30+ Days: $500 for 1 pet, $750 for 2 pets

Please let us know in advance if you’ll be bringing a pet so we can prepare the space accordingly. Thank you for helping us keep our home welcoming, pet-friendly, and well cared for!

Additional Guests
Each additional guest beyond the standard occupancy is $50 per guest, per stay.

Left Items
Before you leave, we kindly ask that you double-check for any personal items. Please note that if items are left behind, a $25 service fee plus shipping costs will apply to have them returned to you.

Linens & Makeup Stains
Please do not use the white bath towels or washcloths to remove makeup, as they can become permanently stained. We have provided makeup wipes and dark washcloths specifically for this purpose. Thank you for helping us keep our linens in great condition for all guests.

Security Cameras & WiFi
Our exterior security cameras are used solely to help ensure the safety and security of our guests and the property. Tampering with, covering, disabling, or disconnecting the security cameras, or intentionally disconnecting the WiFi to interfere with their operation, will result in a $500 violation fee.

Commercial Use & Events
Parties, illegal activities of any kind, large gatherings, and professional photo or video shoots are strictly prohibited. The property is for residential vacation use only. $500 fee and immediate eviction will occur if violated.

Child Safety & Supervision
Children are very welcome, but must be supervised by an adult at all times. This is especially critical on the upper-unit stairs, deck areas, and around the hot tub and propane fire pit. The property is not completely child-proofed; guests assume all responsibility for the safety of minors in their party.

The maximum occupancy for this home is 10 guests. You are responsible for ensuring that all visitors follow all house and parking rules during their time on the property. No unregistered guests are allowed without permission from GRM.

For safety reasons, please do not use the fireplace when children are present. Adult supervision is required at all times around the fireplace to help prevent accidents and injuries.

Guests are responsible for cleaning the BBQ grill after use. Please run the burners for several minutes and clean the grill once finished. Failure to make a reasonable effort to clean the grill will result in a $25 cleaning fee. A $50 fee will be charged if a deep clean is required, as determined by our cleaning team.

Please read the Hot Tub rules before using the Hot Tub. Use at your own risk. Please shower before entering and always replace the cover and secure the safety straps immediately after use to maintain temperature and cleanliness. For your safety, glass containers are strictly prohibited in or around the hot tub area—please use the plastic cups provided. Guests must follow all additional safety and usage guidelines posted directly at the hot tub station.

Please report any accidental damage or breakage as soon as it occurs so we can address it before the next guest arrives. Guests are responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing any damaged or missing items. By staying at the property, guests acknowledge that they assume all risks associated with their stay and use of the home's amenities. The hosts are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur on the premises or while using the property's amenities.

Your comfort is our priority. If you experience any issues during your stay, such as unexpected noise from another unit, sensitivity to scents, difficulty using an appliance, or if you need additional towels or supplies, please contact us right away. We're always happy to help and will do our best to ensure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

For stays longer than 28 days, our standard procedure includes:
- Signed lease agreement
- Identification / Background check
- Refundable security deposit: $2,000

- Deep cleaning fee: $50

This cabin offers its guests a hot tub and a sauna. Barbecue grills, an arcade/game room, and a garden are also featured at the family-friendly cabin.
