We booked this property for an anniversary stay expecting a private “entire home” experience.After checking in, we realized several key aspects that significantly impacted privacy and comfort were not clear to us at the time of booking. The sauna is shared, and there is a walkway directly past the patio where people may pass by, as the owner lives above. The patio area is therefore not fully private. The main living area is on the same level as the patio and does not have blinds, which made it difficult to feel comfortable in the space.Additionally, the kitchen is located directly above the bedroom, and noise made it difficult for us to sleep, especially as we tend to go to bed early. Due to the layout, sound travels between the upper and lower levels, which further impacted privacy. The kitchen setup also does not include a stove/oven or dishwasher, which may be important for some guests to know.Due to these factors, we made the decision to check out early the following morning and moved to another property.These details would have influenced our decision to book had they been clearly understood beforehand. This may still work for some guests, but it did not align with what we were expecting for a private anniversary stay.
