Stayed at Holiday Inn Express numerous times all over the country and this is the only one we ever had to pay for parking. I can understand a hotel charging for parking in the middle of a big city with limited space but this hotel is in the middle of nowhere with a huge parking lot. The price for the room was not great but not terrible either however with the parking charge on top it then on the pricier side. The hotel itself is what is expected of this chain—clean, great bed/pillows and good breakfast, though the front desk advertises “gourmet” breakfast which made us laugh.

Breakfast is always fresh and tasty along with coffee - coastal or decaf coastal coffee ready to use! Staff were friendly and genuine when I needed to check in way early. The king size bed was so comfortable to sleep in with a simple TV that showed Christmas movies during my 1 year anniversary with my boyfriend in December. I love the mirror lights in the bathroom, great for waking me up since I'm not a morning person haha

Staff was outstanding! Room was clean & comfortable. They are also very Pet Friendly! The only minor issue was that there was a very large number of foreign tourists who were very boisterous & loud (but friendly) in the dining area in the evenings & at breakfast. I also DO understand that Sedona is very much a tourist area. We would certainly stay here again!!
