Beautiful view from balcony and bed! Very comfortable king bed and sheets. It can be a bit loud being able to hear neighbors. Hot tub and pool are a great addition and clean.

View was scenic and the location was really what made the property for us. The only issue was we didn’t know they don’t do room cleaning unless you’re more than a 4 night stay (we were 3) and our little trash cans got pretty full day 2 and the toilet paper ran low so we had to call to request these services but they were very responsive and sent someone the next day and the staff is very friendly and our overall stay was great! Would stay here again!

Everything was wonderful and amazing. The lady who works in the evening was especially kind and very friendly - one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. The view was fantastic too. The only issue was that the people who staying below us were very loud talkers and very annoying. They finally stopped talking at 11:15 pm and then I could go to sleep. I highly recommend the Matterhorn.

Location is excellent. We were able to complete our hikes for the day and then stay parked. The location is ideal for shopping and restaurants. The view was amazing. You are in the middle of all the action but you feel calm and relaxed.

Our visit

We stayed three days in Sedona and it was wonderful to walk to a restaurant after a long day of hiking. We found the king size bed very comfortable and seeing the sun come up over the mountains from bed was a plus. Breakfast consisted of a variety of yogurt, fresh fruit and granola bars. The coffee pods provided was really good, strong and full of flavor. My only criticism would be upon checkin, the room was over-deodorized.

Older renovated hotel, but clean and comfortable.

Convenient to some shopping, restaurants, etc. If you don’t have a car, there is a shuttle nearby to trailheads. Can walk to coffee shop in adjacent parking lot. We drove to surrounding locations because the hotel sits on a hill and the climb is difficult for older folks. This is an older renovated two story hotel without an elevator, so expect that. Our 2nd floor end unit king room was clean, comfortable, quiet, spacious, had a balcony and view of shops and mountains. They should skip the grab and go packaged breakfast option. Unless you’re an early morning hiker, you’ll most likely go elsewhere for breakfast. There is a very small pool and play area in the parking lot.

We stayed at the Vista Villa. The house was very clean and well stocked with amenities. We enjoyed drinking our coffe out on the porch - the view was beautiful! The house was within walking distance to multiple restaurants and shopping. We had a wonderful time and would definitely loved to come back again.
