A very clean, proper hotel, close to the center but still quiet. Breakfast is excellent, staff is cordial. Bell’s Motel Beach is also is highly recommended for swimming. It is 10 min driving distance and is managed by the same people.

Nice but bad experience due to no map and dogs.

The owner didn't speak much English but was friendly. I was able to change room to get one a bit brighter. The hotel was spotless and my bedroom had a large bathroom. Breakfast was better than most similar hotels - eggs with thyme & pul biber, a good selection of home made jam (I was given a present of the tangerine marmalade) and a poppy seed paste. Breakfast area was on top floor - outdoors. What I didn't like: Wi-fi was not good! I also found it strange that payment was taken immediately - I'm used to paying on leaving and it gave me a mistrusting image. The owner had NO map of the area - this would have been helpful as I really didn't know what to see/where to go. However importantly, the map would have helped me upon return later in the night. I was walking back and went up some wrong roads and was surrounded by 6 angry dogs barking loudly and looking very aggressive. I was terrified and when I started to move back, they followed me threateningly. I was so scared that I went into a house to get help and get away from the dogs. A kind woman drove me to my hotel (which was on the next street - 2 mins away) but the whole experience was very stressful. I wasn't able to explain this to the hotel owner due to language and being upset. Also the A/C wasn't working - or I wasn't shown how to work it (different from other hotels) and when I asked for it to be cooler, the owner switched something on in the hall - not in my bedroom. Later it was fixed.

Misafirperver bir işletmeci. Bölge hakkında ki rehberliği memnun etti. Birçok otel kış sezonuna geçtiği için kahvaltıları hüsran iken, Kaptan motel bu konuda aldığı ücretin karşılığını veriyor, taze ve ev yapımı ürünlerin olduğu lezzetli bir kahvaltı sofrası hazırladılar. Keyifli bir konaklama

Otelin konumu oldukça merkezi. Hem denize hem şehir merkezine yürüme mesafesinde. Ancak bu lokasyon sakin ve dinlendirici olmasına da engel olmamış. Sahibesi Neriman Hanım ilgili ve konuksever. Ayrıca kahvaltı oldukça çeşitli, reçeller ev yapımı, çok sevdik. Teras da oldukça keyifliydi.

Ev sahibesi Neriman Hanım çok içten, misafirperver ve titizdi. Ev diyorum, çünkü evde gibi hissettik. Fiyat Performans olarak da beğendik. Negatif olarak söylenecek 2 geçici konu oldu. Telekom kaynaklı intenet bağlantısı ve çok nadiren de olsa yeterli tanzikle akmayan banyodaki su. Fakat manzara olsun, konum olsun. Hele ki kahvaltısı olsun, mükemmeldi. Gönül rahatlığı ile tavsiye ediyorum.

Sığacık'ta hem otel konforu hem ev sıcaklığı...

Kaptan otel'de iki gece konakladık. Yurt dışından gelen bir arkadaşımla birlikte bölge köylerini gezmek üzere yaptığımız seyahatte Sığacık'ı merkez almıştık. Sığacık'ın otantik kale içi ne yazık ki "hızlı turizmin" etkisi altına girmiş ve neredeyse bütün tarihi doku plansız bir biçimde pansiyon ve lokantaya dönüşmüş durumda. Kale içinde ev sahibi olan yerli halk da haklı olarak bu gelişmeden pay almak isteğiyle bu eğilimi olumlu karşılamakta. Bu nedenle kale içindeki konaklama mekanları hızla pansiyona dönüştürülmüş evlerden oluşuyor. Bunların çok azı ortalama bir konaklama konforu için sağlıklı alt yapıya sahip. Kaleiçi aynı zamanda bir eğlence mekanına dönüşmüş olduğundan geceleri iyi uyku uyumak isteyenler için çok gürültülü. Kaptan Otel kalenin dışında ve kaleiçine 5-7 dakika yürüme mesafesinde konumu ile konaklama için çok uygun bir lokasyonda. Otelin sahibesi Neriman Hanım butik otel standartını evinde misafir ağırlayan ama misafirlerinin alanına hiç müdahale etmeyen şahane bir ev saipliği ile taşlandırmış. Tertemiz odalar, mis gibi çarşaf ve havlular, Sığacık limanına bakan güzel manzaralı kahvaltı terası, otelin dekarasyonundaki sade ama çok güzel objeler ve en önemlisi kendi bahçesinden topladığı yeşillikler, biber, domates ve kendi eliyle yaptığı reçeller bize çok iyi geldi. Ayrıca NerimanHanımın Sığacık'daki turizmin gelişiminin doğaya ve tarihi çevreye zarar vermeden cittaslow ünvanını kaybetmeden olması gerektiğine inanması ve bunu savunmasına ayrıca mutu olduk.

Ailece konakladığımız Kaptan Motel, konforu, temizliği ve muhteşem kahvaltısıyla beklentimizin çok üstünde bizi memnun etti. Hem çok sakin bir lokasyonda olup, hem de merkeze bu denli yakın oluşu büyük avantaj. Sahibesi Neriman Hanım’ın ilgi ve alakası, güleryüzü sayesinde kendimizi evimizde gibi hissettik. Otelin yerden ısıtmalı oluşu sayesinde Aralık ayında bile odamız sıcacıktı -bu bölgede ısıtma pek çok otelde sorundur- O nedenle Sığacık tarafına gelecekseniz hiç düşünmeden tercih edeceğiniz bir yer Kaptan Motel.

Moteldeki tek çalışan olan Neriman hanımın en basit televizyon bozulmasına tahammül edemeyip 'siz bozmuşsunuz başka oda da veremem buraları ben temizliyorum kusura bakmayın' gibi kaba üslubunu ve ilk girdiğimizden itibaren karşılaştığımız asık suratını 2 günlük kısa tatilimizde çekmek zorunda kaldık. Oda temizdi fakat diğer hizmetler sıfır. Ayrıca Neriman hanım, yazdığınız yanıtta motel deneyiminiz yok demişsiniz fakat Antalya gibi turizm şehrinden ve pansiyon işletmecisi bir aileden gelmekteyim. İnsanları bilginiz olmadan böyle yargılamamayı öğrenseniz iyi olur. İyi günler

Sadece bir gece konakladık ama otel yöneticisi hanımefendinin (aslında belki de ev sahibesi demek daha uygun olur) sıcak karşılaması, bize kendi elleri ile yaptığı kahve ikramı sonrası keşke daha çok zamanımız olsaydı diye düşündük.
