Overall, we had a positive experience. Guido is incredibly nice, welcoming, and thoughtful. He allowed us to use his second home in the mountains so that we could park and ski from that location. The house was clean, comfortable, and modern. Guido also gave us some fruit and cookies that his wife baked, which was very thoughtful. The view from the place is beautiful. We could see tons of fireworks from the place on new years which was nice. There are a few things renters should know before renting this place: The place did not have any cooking oils or spices/salt/sugar so we had to buy our own. Also, the host requires a 900 Euro cash only deposit which is very inconvenient for those of us traveling from outside of the continent and the only place I had ever had to do that in the world. Unforunately, Vrbo was not helpful nor was the management company (Holidu) to offer an alternative (like credit card) in this regard. Guido may be working on that.There is also a requirement for you to pay for linen which is also very unusual. The house is located in an inconvenient area that is really only accessible by car (not so obvious by the map) as it is a pretty far walk to the town. it is also located on a steep decline, which can be difficult to navigate by car. Be aware that the road to the location has only one lane and cliffs on one side of it without guard rails which is especially tricky at night (no lights) and in the winter.

Tolle Unterkunft über St Christina

Traumhafte Lage mit Blick über St Christina (Zufahrt von Wolkenstein). Wunderschöne Unterkunft, sehr gute Ausstattung. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter (wohnt im Haus). Nur kurzer Fußweg zur Saslong B Piste, direkter Abschwung von dort im Tiefschnee zur Unterkunft. Fazit: nächstes Jahr wieder!!!
