Returning to Korea for the first time since I immigrated at age 4 - now in my mid-fifties was a homecoming filled with emotion, curiosity, and a sense of rediscovery. Sharing this moment with my daughter made it even more meaningful. We chose Seogwipo as our first stop in Jeju, and Tropical Hideaway became the perfect place for this chapter of our story. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful setting felt like a deep breath. The heated floors wrapped us in comfort each night, and the outdoor stone tub was pure magic - a blend of nature and relaxation that reminded me of how powerful a place can be. And the viewโ€ฆ it wasnโ€™t just beautiful, it was soul-stirring. The kind of view you canโ€™t buy, no matter how much money you have - the kind that makes you pause, reflect, and feel grateful for where life has carried you. The warmth of the staff, the quiet beauty of the surroundings, and the comfort of the room all came together to make this stay unforgettable. Perfect for a solo traveller who want lone time

I truly enjoyed the time at Tropical Hideaway as a solo traveller. The proximity to the sea and the mountain, not to mention Olleh hiking trails, made it so perfect. Only downside is reataurants because most of them close relatively early. Swimming pool was almost to myself during the day, and the bathtub after night run made my day.
