This was the perfect hotel for my stay in Seoul. I especially appreciated the very clear directions for arrival from the airport as this was my first visit to Seoul. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The cute and comfortable room was very quiet for such a busy area.

I had a great stay at Daeyoung Hotel Seoul. The bilingual front desk staff were consistently warm, helpful, and welcoming. When I arrived up the small uphill alley, they came outside right away to help with my bags, which made a great first impression and made me feel safe and cared for. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and it was easy to request extra towels at the front desk whenever needed. While there isn’t self-service laundry, the hotel offers a large laundry bag service where you fill the bag and receive your clothes back the same day at a very reasonable cost. It ended up being very convenient and saved me time. The location is excellent. It’s about one block from Hoehyeon Station (Line 4), making it simple to travel anywhere in Seoul. There are also plenty of nearby options for breakfast or late-night food, which was extremely convenient during my stay. One of the highlights was the rooftop. The open and unobstructed view of Namsan Tower from the top of the hotel was beautiful and memorable. It felt like a bonus experience that made the stay even better. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. I also added a short Korean version below so the staff can read my appreciation directly, since they truly made my stay enjoyable. 한국어: 대영호텔에서 편안하게 지냈습니다. 프런트 직원분들이 항상 친절하고 영어도 능숙했습니다. 언덕길 골목으로 도착했을 때 바로 나와 짐을 도와주셔서 환영받는 느낌이었습니다. 객실은 매우 깨끗했고, 필요할 때 수건도 쉽게 요청할 수 있었습니다. 셀프 세탁은 없지만 큰 세탁 가방에 맡기면 당일 합리적인 가격으로 받아볼 수 있어 아주 편리했습니다. 위치도 훌륭합니다. 회현역(4호선)에서 매우 가깝고 주변에 맛집도 많

The location is convenient for visiting Myeongdong Street. The hotel is a bit old and doesn’t offer breakfast. The staff is friendly, and it’s good value for the price paid.

Small room & cramped ok for short stay & weather being fine but cost very low for Seoul so bargain. Staff very good shower TV good. Near 2 markets but issues with Seoul as because of security google maps did not work. App used on T station advise was poor seemed to push taxis tube which was inappropriate if directions on App worked. Would recommend hotel

Staff was so friendly and helpful. The hotel was very conveniently located. The only bad thing was an unpleasant odour coming from the washroom and wardrobe. We only stayed one night, and the odour was present upon arrival.
