Melody House is a fully renovated home on the 3rd floor of a quiet building in 아현동 (Ahyeon-dong), Mapo-gu — right in the center of Seoul, with two metro lines within a 5-minute walk.
Hotel-quality bedding, blackout curtains, a fully stocked kitchen, and a living room big enough to actually use. Every room has its own lock and key for privacy, even when traveling as a group.
The Space
The whole home is yours — no shared spaces with other guests or strangers. You'll have three private bedrooms (large, medium, and small), a shared living room and kitchen, 1 bathroom, an in-unit washing machine, and a dedicated kitchen setup for home cooking.

First, there are not many choices if you are looking for 4 beds. When you search for 4-person accommodations, most places have 2 queen beds. This property had three separate bedrooms, with 4 separate beds. The place was clean and in very good condition. The location was central to the subway and a short ride to most of the tourist destinations. We were very happy with our stay. My only complaint.....which I shared with the host, were the misleading directions. "Melody House" is not a house or even a building. It is actually a third-floor apartment in an older apartment building that the host calls Melody House. The host does not provide any exterior photos. When we could not locate it, no one we asked had ever heard of "Melody House." And without any photos, we had no clue what we were looking for. Other than that negative experience.....we liked the apartment and its central location.
