Super friendly and great location

There are many choices around the island where you can stay. St. Angelo is a great spot to be able to walk to activities and/or the beach. The Residence is family-owned and run. The father was up baking late at night for the morning breakfast. It smelled so good. Very accommodating and friendly. Thank you, Sanny, Guiseppe and staff.

At Hotel Residence Sant’Angelo, you receive the kind of hospitality that has the warmth of your own family. Guisseppe and his son genuinely try to give you the best experience possible with suggestions on where to eat, where to go, what to see, discounts - you name it. You don’t even have to ask. They will provide it. This is a wonderful family owned hotel that treats you like a member of their family. You won’t experience this anywhere else. And the breakfast is wonderful with delicious home made cappuccinos. I miss them already. I highly recommend.

Our stay here was absolutely incredible. Sanni and Giuseppe were the best hosts you could ask for. Whether it was a delicious cappuccino every morning, dinner recommendations/reservation help, or their warm greeting every time you saw them, they truly made you feel like family. Spending time on the property with the lovely rooftop spring fed pool and incredible views truly felt like paradise. You are also a short walk away from the beautiful town of Sant’Angelo as well as the beach. It was the ideal place to spend our time on Ischia!

Not enough good things to say about the convenience of this location, the warmth of the staff, and the overall atmosphere of this hotel! Sanny was an absolute angel - as a young 20 year old female traveling alone, I felt so safe and taken care of, going as far as to book a table in Sant Angelo for dinner when I had no reservations and calling me a taxi (that took card) within 5 minutes after I missed my bus… He is the BEST! The indoor and outdoor pools are also such a perk, and Sant Angelo is a quick 10 minute walk away. My room was also spotless - so clean, and perfect for my stay. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Had an amazing time at this hotel. The staff was so kind and accommodating to both myself and my wife from even before we arrived to after we had checked out. The value of this hotel is fantastic and allowed us to explore the island and the local restaurants fully. The morning breakfast was delicious which included fruits and vegetables from their garden and delicious coffee. Can't wait to return asap. Thank you for the amazing stay.

Amazing!

Absolutely fantastic hotel, the view is amazing and the owner and his son, Sanny go above and beyond with the customer service! The breakfast is amazing, with fresh tomatoes from Giuseppe's garden, hot cornetti, and he makes the best cappuccinos! The view at breakfast is awesome as well. Its a very close walk to Sant'Angelo, and Sanny had the best recommendations for dinner. You will not be disappointed with this hotel, this will be where i always stay when I visit Ischia.

Skuffende ophold – langt under forventet standard

Det eneste positive ved opholdet var personalets venlighed – resten var desværre en stor skuffelse. Værelserne var meget slidte med ødelagte møbler, afskallet maling og et generelt indtryk af manglende vedligeholdelse gennem længere tid. Rengøringen var på et uacceptabelt lavt niveau som gjorde det ubehageligt at opholde sig der. Hotellets standard lever på ingen måde op til det, man kan forvente, hverken i forhold til pris eller kategori. Jeg vil aldrig selv booke her igen og kan kun fraråde andre at vælge dette hotel.

Sweet hosts, perfect location

The owners could not have been more kind. The pool and roof deck had ocean and town views, the lobby and restaurant overlook the same lovely views, the breakfast was wonderful and the location is a very short walk to town. It was better than staying in sant angelo proper because we were removed from any noise and we were right at the bus stop. I would definitely stay here again.
