Supermarkets are closed on Sundays in Cayman, though most restaurants and gas stations remain open, and some gas stations sell liquor on Sundays. Grocery items can also be pre-ordered and delivered before arrival.

TRANSPORTATION

• A rental car is highly recommended for this area so guests can easily explore Grand Cayman at their own pace.

• Many guests book directly with trusted local providers such as Marshall’s Rent-A-Car, Andy's Rent-A-Car, or compare options through Kayak.

• Public transportation available close bye, however having a car offers the greatest convenience and flexibility.

My wife and I stayed at Cocoplum for 2 weeks. The ocean front views are incredible. The location was great as well, close to everything along 7 Mile Beach and less than a mile from the pier and downtown Georgetown, also very quiet and away from the crowds. Jayne, the property manager, was extremely attentive and friendly. We would recommend to anyone that wants to be close to the action but with lots of privacy.

Late June 2025 stay

We were very happy with the Vrbo. Cocoplum was close to many restaurants and activities. A shower drive from airport and Georgetown. Clean, comfortable, oceanfront. I’d definitely stay here again. There is also the wreck of the gamma close to shore, which is excellent for snorkeling right off the beach acccessed from the property.

Relaxing Stay

This was our first time in the Cayman Islands and we had such a relaxing time here. The condo was perfect for us. We were the only ones at the pool most days and the beach was not crowded at all. My husband and I played tennis nearly every morning and we played rummy in the evenings. The condo was clean, had beach towels, chairs, rafts, goggles, etc. which was all handy to use as well. The freezer even had a working ice maker which was convenient! We walked to dinner most nights.

Beautiful and fun

Jayne was wonderful and let us drop off our luggage hours before check in time. This condo you can walk right out to the pool or ocean (bring a snorkel!). Water shoes are also helpful to bring at this part of the beach, there are shells and coral when walking in- but that is no big deal bc you just have to float out and enjoy swimming or snorkeling! Sunset views from sitting on the porch. This location is walking distance to grocery, restaurants and shopping if you don't want to rent a car (and only 8 min drive from airport) about 1 mile up near where the cruise ships let people off there is a fun outdoor mall and more restaurants to choose from. Spent one day at stingray City/coral gardens/starfish point all of which is a must see! This condo was also very clean and nicely decorated. Thank you for the wonderful stay! We would love to stay again.

Lovely beachfront condo

Our family stayed here in March. We chose the Cayman Islands to get my daughter scuba certified. This was the perfect place for our stay. Fantastic location. Right on the beach. Walking distance to a gym and yoga studio. Lots of restaurants near by. The condo itself was perfect. Great lay out. Would definitely stay again!!!

lovely spot for families

We enjoyed our stay and the privacy this location has. The unit was clean and comfortable, the kitchen is dated and could use nicer quality cooking pans and better quality small appliances (toaster, blender etc) but the bathrooms are renovated, the pool is very clean, the beach is beautiful and private and the air conditioning is very cold. We would recommend the unit for a family trip.

Great location, responsive host

Great quiet location with close proximity to commercial areas and 7-mile beach. Jayne is very responsive and accommodative. There are many thoughtful amenities not mentioned such as beach chairs, floats, glad lunch boxes, etc. Kitchen is fully equipped and you can cook a full meal.

Awesome place for our family

It was nice to be out of the way of the large resorts in a quieter setting with a pool and wreck snorkeling just off the beach. Loved the sunset views and easy and close parking. Anything we needed was included with the condo including kitchen amenities.

This property is very centrally and conveniently located near lots of restaurants, a grocery store, a gym and many other amenities. We loved the condo. It had everything we needed and a beautiful pool!

This was a wonderful condo. It is situated in a great location to grocery store, restaurants and beaches. We would definitely come back. We were thoroughly impressed with the area and Gran Cayman. People are friendly and the public bus transportation was super. There are so beaches to explore and go snorkeling. The condo was situated in a great location. We spent a lot of time on the porch and in the pool! We would love to come back to this piece of paradise!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this property! Perfect location! Within walking distance to restaurants and shops, including snorkeling equipment rental, pharmacy, and wine/spirits shop. The condo complex was clean and quiet. The pool is oceanfront and the perfect, serene, distance to the ocean. The furnishings are clean and very comfortable. It was very nice having access to a washer/dryer in the unit. Saves on required luggage! We loved this property and will be back!

As advertised! The view was everything we imagined. We enjoyed watching the sunset on the bench in front of our condo. The grounds are well manicured and the staff was very friendly and willing to help out in any way. The condo was perfect for us. It was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed. We enjoyed breakfast on the patio every morning and a glass of wine in the evenings. The beachfront is rocky, but great for snorkeling. Although the rocks didn't keep others from swimming. We drove just a few minutes down to the road to enjoy the most beautiful beaches ever! We usually stay at a resort and had a few we were considering. We are so happy we made the decision to stay here!

Quiet and Beautiful

We stayed 6 nights in this condo. We enjoyed the views of the ocean. The cruise ships were also beautiful to see and the snorkeling nearby was a hit with my family. The sunken shipwreck was close by with lots of fish to see.
