Summit Up is a private two-level cabin tucked at the dead-end of a road in the Smoky Mountains, where nature is your only neighbor. The main floor has a full living room with a gas fireplace, a fully stocked kitchen, a dedicated workspace, and a half bath, opening onto a covered deck with the private hot tub, a gas fire pit, and mountain views. `Unwinding in the hot tub at the end of a busy day, looking at the mountains was a perfect ending to our day — and sometimes a nice beginning as well.` — Amanda

Upstairs is one large bedroom — about the size of two — with a king bed and a queen trundle (queen on top, pullout below), plus a full bathroom. The upper balcony off the bedroom is where guests watch the sunset over the mountains; morning coffee up there is non-negotiable. `The upper deck off the bedroom was such a relaxing space where we watched the sunset over the mountain views.` — Mel

Dogs are welcome and love it here — there`s room to roam, and a gate to keep the yard secure. A Pack `n Play travel crib and booster seat are available for families with little ones.

Getting here is part of the appeal — a private drive away from it all, yet still close to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Cherokee. Check-in is by smart lock, with your code waiting before you arrive. We suggest arriving before dark on your first night and taking the road slow; guests in cars, minivans, and loaded trucks all make it fine, and you`ll have it dialed in by morning. During peak winter (mid-December to mid-February) or if icy weather is forecast, a four-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended.

Please note that a short rental agreement will be sent after booking is confirmed. This agreement outlines the standard terms of your stay (house rules, responsibilities, and damage policy) and must be completed prior to check-in.

Pet Policy:
Only dogs 1 year or older and under 60lb allowed. Up to 2 dogs per reservation, and dogs must be crate-trained and potty-trained, and crated when you`re sleeping or out exploring or any time you cannot supervise. Please pick up after your pets. We will charge excess cleaning fees if pet waste is left inside or outside of the cabin.

This cabin offers its guests barbecue grills and a garden. The front desk is open around the clock.
