Was great did feel a littli uneasy with camera's ever were.and inside was great could of had stairs inside to go downstairs to gameroom and king size bed and walk in shower we didn't get to use down stairs much because had to go outside and down stairs to access other than that ir was great .

Lovely cabin perfect for families!

I just want to start off by saying the owners of this cabin are absolute gems. They answered my 1000 questions, as i was anxious about my dads upcoming surgery (he's doing great!). They were kind and patient with me. This beautiful cabin is perfectly nestled in the hills of the Wears Valley area. SO beautiful! Its basically right in the middle of Townsend and Pigeon Forge. Convienient to the "peaceful side" (Townsend) of the Smokies and the "busy side" (Pigeon Forge) of the Smokies. You will be literally minutes from a Dollar General and several eating places right down the road. The cabin also has membership with a place for swimming and fishing access, even though we didn't get to do either. It was just the right size for our family of 6. We put our son in the sunroom and our girls upstairs in the queen bed in the loft area. We slept on the main floor in the master. We didnt use the downstairs "apartment" for sleeping because it has an exterior entrance and our teen girls didnt want to be seperate from us. The downstairs is perfect for a couple wanting to have a seperate space from everyone else upstairs (grandparents, etc). Overall, our stay was amazing and so were the owners! We will definitely stay again because we loved it SO much!

Family Vacation

The property is as advertised. There is a bedroom on the main level, a loft bedroom, and a bedroom on the basement level that has to be accessed from outside. The location is great. It is about 20 minutes from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge. Wears Valley has options for food and cute shops within 5 minutes of the cabin. We even got a special visit from a bear one morning!

Perfect getaway!

Great Location for our weekend away.

The decor of the cabin was very TN. The hot tub was a great! However, due to the weather we had some major interruptions in our trip. Our friends arrived first to find the cabin without power thanks to storms the day before. Although not the owners fault, our friends and their childern would have been more comfortable if the cabin had an emergency kit (flash lights/battery pack). We were told there were spare blankets but they couldn't find them. We finally arrived 3 hours later to the power restored but a very chilly cabin. Even with the space heaters and fireplaces, the cabin wasn't warm enough. The cabin was advertised to have a room with a pullout sofabed. The sofabed was there however the room was not insulated well enough. We intended for my son to sleep there, but without proper insulation he would have froze. We had to shift everyone around which forced my husband to sleep in the downstairs finished apartment space alone, and I had to bunk up with my 6 year old in the master bedroom. The next morning, the wifi was down, so checking the weather was a challenge. We were relying on wifi since there was limited cell phone reception (expected). Sunday, we get notice of bad weather moving in. We deciced to leave out that evening rather than staying the final night we paid for. Although Keith was in constant communication throughout our stay, we were disappointed in our overall experience for how much we paid. We would come back to stay, but in the summer.

Vacation in the Smokies

The property matched the pictures. It was roomy, well stocked, and everything was in working order. The location felt like you were in a Cabin in the woods far away from everything, while in reality you were only minutes from all the fun stuff you wanted to do. We can't wait to come back next year.
