★ ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS ★
We recommend downloading an "offline map" in your G00GLE Maps program. It will let you navigate our cabin and around the area (automatically) even if you don't have cell coverage.

To do this, it's easy:

1. Open the G00GLE Maps app and log in.

2. Search for Gatlinburg. Zoom in/out so that the map you see contains everything from Gatlinburg on the bottom to Sevierville on the top. Don't be afraid to zoom way out because it'll get everything in between.

On iPhone: Tap the name, tap More..., select "Download Offline Map > Download."
On Android: Tap the name, select Download, click Download
During your stay at this cabin, you'll be close to Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. You'll find features like a hot tub, laundry facilities, and an arcade/game room. Free WiFi and a kitchen are available in the cabin.

This cabin was so cozy for family members of all ages! The host was very responsive and communicative. The drive in can be scary if you are not used to hills and back roads so be prepared. But once you are there the views are worth it! We saw multiple bears each day at the cabin- they minded their own business but keep your eye out for them. They will try to get in your car. The theater room and hot tub are the perfect touch to wind down after the hustle and bustle of the smoky mountain exploring. By far the best check in and check out process! I would recommend bringing a few of your own towels and washcloths depending on the size of your party- otherwise we have zero complaints!

The log cabin was cleaned and neatly organized. The mountain views from all sides of the cabin were phenomenal and majestic. The host was friendly and available when we had questions. I highly recommend staying at this cabin. We will be returning for sure! The Great Smokey Mountains is such a magical place. Also, the towns/villages around this area were very cute. Lots of things to do for adults and families with kids.

Great Getaway with Amazing Views!

Sandy’s place was great. The cabin had everything we needed, and there was a grocery store about 15 minutes away as well. Sandy was very responsive, and the pricing was very reasonable. We would definitely visit again.

The trail getting to the cabin was a challenge but the view was worth every twist and turn. The cabin is perfect- all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay.

Awesome cabin

Everything about our was great! The cabin is beautiful and we felt as if it were our home away from home for a few days! Sandy is wonderful at communicating and very responsive to messages that you send! She definitely makes sure that things are taken care of! We will definitely want to stay at this cabin when we make our next trip to the smokies!

Wonderful!

We are so pleased we chose LaConte. From the minute we pulled up we felt at home. This was a get away and rewind trip for us so we spent a lot of time at the cabin. The cleanliness and amenities were wonderful. Plus the fact that our fur baby was welcome made this the perfect vacation. Very convenient to everything yet far enough away that you were not bothered by the hustle and bustle to feel relaxed. Thanks so much for being a great host and we definitely will return. I only wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Morning Mountain View was awesome coffee on the balcony every morning and listening to the wildlife moving around on the ground was nice. We joked about seeing a bear. We were there for about 30 mins when we saw one it tried to get into the neighbors garbage cage and couldn't so it pushed it down the hill. Then it walked over and open a trucks car door just like person. Guess there was nothing of interest so he closed it. Two nights later one was walking through the yard at 10:30pm The day we left we saw two that morning. This is why they tell you to keep your distance and lock your car and doors. It was local to Pigeon forge and The Island with a nice mountain drive. The house was big enough for the 9 of us. The teenagers enjoyed the hot tub and movie theater. Hostess answered quickly in my questions

LeConte Hideout Cabin

We all absolutely loved staying in LeConte Hideout. The cabin is well kept and close to so much in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The back deck view is amazing and did not disappoint. I took a picture every morning and each one is breathtaking. Sandy was an amazing hostess and we would definitely visit again. Watch out for Bears!! They are around you!! The hot tub was so nice to come home to and the theater room is a great way to relax with the family. I wish we had more time to stay there was so much we didn’t do. Thanks again!!

Mountain Cabin Great for Family Stay

The cabin was just was adverised in the listing and is located about the same distance from both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg which made it very easy to enjoy activities in either location. The instructions concerning the bears should not be discounted, as we saw bears outside almost each day of our stay. The mountain view off the back decks are very nice, and the theater room and hot tub provided the extra option of simply spending the evening relaxing at the cabin. The nearby Food City grocery store had a very nice selection of groceries to keep us well stocked and we never found parking in Gatlinburg to be an insurmountable challenge (parking garages are available for $10 per day). The host communication made check-in/check-out and other logistics of the stay very easy, and we had no issues during our stay. Overall, our family had a great time over spring break and would consider this cabin again if returning to the area.
