“On the Rocks” is a beautiful home! It was immaculate and very inviting. It was very accommodating for the eight of us. The four grandchildren loved the game room and the pool! When they played the games you could hear them hooting and hollering with excitement! The furnishings were lovely and very comfortable. The mattresses were wonderful! Sipping coffee out on the porch in the early morning was delightful. Making s’mores around the campfire at night was so much fun. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. All eight of us could sit at the table together to enjoy dinner. It was a wonderful stay in this beautiful home!

Our stay was fantastic & will return & recommend! We gave this a 4 star review only because of a multitude of maintenance type items that need attention, had there not been as many maintenance items, hands down a 5star review! Upon arrival, we had been told we could check in on time, the house had not yet been cleaned. Communication w/ host was very professional & prompt. Host had cleaning crew there immediately & they were efficient & very polite. Overall house was very clean. There were zero cobwebs, windows were all pretty spotless (except for front door glass), and zero dust. It appears the house is very well cleaned on a regular basis. The kitchen has plenty of utensils, pots, pans, and other items needed to cook meals. However, several of the pans are fairly greasy and or in need of replacing. The dishwasher doesn’t appear to get hot enough or have the proper amount of time to cycle if dishes are washed on the 1hr cycle as instructions indicate, highly recommend running the full cycle as the dishes that were in there as well as many in cabinet had soap residue. Several lightbulbs out thru out the entire house. Shower in detached master leaks on floor behind the toilet & appears to be missing grout in the corners. Pool: very clean, & cleaned 2x/wk (Mon & Thurs according to pool company who showed up around 12noon lol). Plenty of pool towels & outside seating, horseshoe pit needs sand. Theater room reclining chairs appear broken. Linens are basic, beds were all comfy!

Cabin is well furnished, well stocked with everything we needed and then some. A lot of thought and effort has gone into this place to really feel like a home away from home. The view is great, feels private. The enclosed deck was fantastic for Zues (our pup). Highly recommend this home, we would definitely stay here again!

The house was not cleaned when we checked in the pool, smell too much like bleach also the Internet for some reason will log off around 9 o’clock at night so we won’t have access to Internet. I think the owner will turn it off. I had text her if she can. Please turn it back on. She said she did not have nothing to do with that, but all the other neighbors had signal crazy for some reason she’ll turn it off at night.

Our multi-generational family of 10 had a wonderful stay at On the Rocks and highly recommend it for others as well. Hopefully we can do another trip soon and, if so, we would check availability here before even looking elsewhere.This was the perfect home base for exploration. Situated between Pigeon Forge and Wears Valley it was quick and easy to get to Dollywood, restaurants, and attractions when we wanted action and quieter trails and Cade's Cove when we wanted to be more chill.Even with a busy week the pool, hot tub, and new golf arcade game were big hits getting almost daily use. We were fortunate with good weather but weren't worried about a rainy day at all given how much the house had to offer.Johnny was super responsive when reaching out with questions and I hope the next one we can ask is when we will be back.

Extended family of 10 people got together for my Dad’s 70th. The home worked for our size group and our needs for the long weekend. Would definitely book again, it rained a bit so didn’t get to utilize the outdoor amenities. Maybe next time!

Amazing layout for families!

Everything was amazing from a minute we checked in. I'll appliances were in wonderful condition. Kitchen was stocked with everything you could ever need to cook family meals. We traveled with a 7-month-old infant and having this separate Master suite was amazing as we could put her down to sleep and not have to worry about waking her up as the rest of the family stayed up later. Will definitely be staying again. Loved it. Loved it. Loved it!
