This is an absolute gem of a hotel. It's a beautiful old building stuffed full of antiques and exquisite tiles - it almost feels like a museum. We loved the fact there are no 'mod cons' like a TV - it's like going back in time. Fabulous breakfast, efficient, helpful and friendly staff (the receptionist booked some wonderful flamenco for us), and oh my goodness the location - a couple of minutes from the cathedral and alcazar. Lots of good tapas and bars on the doorstep. I can't praise this place highly enough. Treat yourself to a superior room - ours was vast with the biggest antique wardrobe I've ever seen and had a beautiful leaded window overlooking the street. Our friends were in an equally lovely room on the other side of the building. Thank you for a perfect few days, we will definitely be returning!
Great position, clean room, good bathroom and shower. No tissues or water provided or tea, making facilities, frig etc.
Would advise room with window as some rooms at very top very small and windowless. Some traffic noise but not a problem.
Hotel has a beautiful lobby. It was nice only thing is that the pillow had a blood stain. Didn’t complain about it but I’m sure they would have taken care of it. Good location with lots of restaurants near by. Overall I enjoy my stay.
This hotel is located a few blocks from Sevilla’s cathedral and even though it is a busy area yet we were able to sleep really well. Staff very friendly and complimentary breakfast was just perfect.
This building is so gorgeous; they’re still working on renovation but yet able to conserve the Spanish unique architecture. You would love this hotel. No need to take uber, we walked around the entire time.
Hotel is situated in an excellent location, I was able to see the cathedral from my room, easily walkable to lots of restaurants, attractions, and links to public transport. Check in and out was very easy and took a matter of minutes. I would stay here again and recommend the location to others visiting Seville. The traditional shutters on the windows meant that the heat of the day could be shut out to make best use of the air conditioning and have a good sleep in the dark.
Property was very clean and comfortable. The rooms are sparse with no tv or fridge, but it was quiet. The hotel has an old world charm about it and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was satisfying with many options.
This hotel is amazing, perfect location in the centre of Seville, perfect for a first time visitors that want to be ideally located! The bed was super confortable and the room really clean! I definitely want to stay there again when I come back
No TV , coffee machine, no safe deposit box.
Location is great, very close to all attractions. Breakfast is good but cost 12E per person.
Price is too high
This property is a gorgeous old Spanish style villa with an inner courtyard. It is in the heart of old Sevilla just steps from the cathedral. If you like history and sleeping where people have slept since the 1700’s with much of the original art and antiques still there, you will love it. The staff was kind and helpful and it was a pleasure to stay there. If you want a TV and a refrigerator you should choose somewhere else. We had a superior room and it was very spacious. Our window faced a quiet street and even with the noise of Holy Week, it was quiet. The tile work alone is worth a visit.
The room was first given was so noisy and I asked to switch, but the lady told me to try one night. We couldn’t sleep at all, the next day the gentleman gave us a very quiet room. Why can’t she just do that? The shower is very small and dangerous to stand in. My husband is hard of walking, I was so afraid of his falling. The breakfast was minimal, no eggs at all. It’s a convenient location in a very beautiful old house. I don’t mind the old, just the shower was dangerously scary. The staff were nice except I wish the First Lady would switch a quiet room upon my request, so we didn’t have to spent a sleepless night after we traveled there.
