We booked this hotel for a one-night layover after a long flight, choosing it for the price and proximity to the airport. We didn’t expect luxury, but the experience was terrible. We arrived at 10 PM, and the taxi dropped us at the main lobby—only to find out our room was on the opposite side of the road. With no help and our taxi already gone, we had to carry our luggage across the street.
At check-in, we were given a smoking room that smelled like an ashtray. We immediately called reception asking to switch, and they said someone would come. After over an hour and five follow-up calls, no one showed up. Tired and frustrated, we took our luggage across the resort to the front desk. Only then were we offered a new room — not the king bed we booked, but two doubles.
The new room was extremely hot, and the AC barely worked. At midnight, we gave up and tried to sleep in the heat. Around 3 AM, a drunk man tried to enter our room, apparently lost — not the hotel’s fault, but disturbing. Worst of all, the towels smelled like cigarette smoke, like they were stored or washed in a smoking area. Disgusting.
We didn’t use the amenities or eat at the hotel, so can’t comment on that. But based on this experience, we wouldn’t stay again and don’t recommend this place — not even for a quick overnight.
