The house is ideally situated, for those who want a piece of Catamount and for those who wish to forego skiing for a day in nearby Great Barrington and other towns like it. The house itself is well maintained and if you forgot towels or even toiletries the host Sabrina has you covered. Sabrina is the one who makes your stay shine further - always accessible and highly responsive. Consider a visit if you are seeking quiet comfort, a drink by the wood stove fireplace, or a perfect landing spot that puts you close to the nearby destinations that found you there in the first place.

This was our third stay at Sabrina’s cheerful, charming, and super cozy little house in Sheffield. Love the first floor open living/dining area, the wonderfully stocked kitchen, the spacious deck for lounging or enjoying an alfresco meal, the badminton and fire pit in the yard…It’s a terrific getaway stay that’s also perfect for entertaining. The house is in a quiet area that is good for biking, and is close to Great Barrington as well as Millerton and the Harlem Valley Rail Trail in New York. We are already thinking about our fourth visit next year!

A charming stay for a family

We’ve stayed a couple times now at Sabrina’s cottage in Sheffield. It’s the perfect location to being able to access Catamount Mountain for our winter trips! Only pray for more snow so we can have more fires.

Lovely Stay

We so enjoyed our three day stay at the cottage. It was incredibly well appointed, clean and so comfortable! We were in the area for a family wedding, so we didnt fully utilize all that the cottage offered, but loved all of the time we did spend there. We had some very pretty walks in the mornings with our little pup. We'd love to return at some point!

We needed a stay over en route to an early Sunday morning check in at Lime Rock Park and Sabrina’s place was perfect. Mom, Dad, 4 adult children and one super cool greyhound. Place was clean, well appointed and an overall great comfortable spot.

Cute house that was perfectly arranged for our family. Kitchen is well stocked with spices galore! We cooked at home every night. Delightful home in very quiet neighborhood near hiking trails. House had every amenity you might need (except tissues). Less than 20 minutes drive from Sheffield. Great restaurants in town. This was a very nice, private house close to the Berkshire towns we wanted to visit. Big master bedroom and very nice master bath. I wish we had seen the stairs to the upstairs bedrooms before we booked as the were very difficult for our senior dog.

We loved our long weekend at Sabrina’s house! Perfect location, lots of hiking close by, and the house was spotless. We had three kids under 7 with us and they loved the bunk and all of the toys left there for them! The kitchen was well stocked with great pots and pans and plenty of room for all of us! We stayed at this home about the same time last year and we were so happy with everything about it, we jumped at the opportunity to stay there again. The house has absolutely everything you'd need and is close to Canaan, CT and Great Barrington, MA and everything the Bershires have to offer. To a person, we wanted for nothing during our stay. House had everything we could possibly need on vacation. A cozy stay in a beautiful home

The house itself was beautiful and we really appreciated the outdoor fire pit (with the fire making kit). There were more than enough rooms to fit my party very comfortably. Also really enjoyed the two lawn games that were left in the back. Thank you for an amazing couple of days!
