An open floor plan creates a naturally comfortable social setting with a beautiful kitchen with breakfast counter and featuring a historic farm sink. The dining area connects to the living space and in the summer the french doors can be opened to make it feel like you are dining on the lawn. Lounge area with a pool table and reading nook that overlooks the fields. Wrap around porch with a gas grill and an outdoor bed (with heated blankets) for the adventurous soul that wants to sleep outside. The house is cooled with mini split units and heated with free standing propane stoves. Wood burning fireplaces create an inviting and homey atmosphere in the winter months. Wood burning sauna in the cellar that can be enjoyed through the cold months, followed by a cold plunge in the pond.

The Ashfield house has a network of trails right out the back door and is just 20 minutes from Berkshire East Ski Resort. Enjoy mtn biking in the summer, alpine and cross country skiing in the winter or venture out to one of the white water raft companies and enjoy the many rivers of western mass.
