We were welcomed by friendly staff and check-in was very efficient. The room was spacious and comfortable and we had everything we needed. Close driving proximity of the resort to hiking and restaurants was ideal, and what a view!

This was our fifth time staying at this little roadside stop. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs because it is right on the road. But we always find it very comfortable. The staff is always amazing. And the whole area is loaded with little towns. Excellent antiquing.

A fabulous little resort!

I really loved this place. The room was big, super clean, and inviting. The bed was really comfortable. The shower (always a quality test for me) was large and water flow was great. The room had a lovely little balcony facing a stretch of the Hood Canal, which made for a beautiful setting. We called to say we'd be arriving a little late, and the proprietor kindly made sure to set up our door code ahead of time so we could get into our room in the absence of anyone at the desk. All of this at a really great price! We were staying only one night, but I'll definitely go back for a more extended stay at some point.

After a long day of travel, we were greeted by our host. He showed us to our room, which was clean and cozy. He offered suggestions for a good meal nearby. We slept well and enjoyed a pleasant shower in the morning. Refreshed, we went on our way to join our family along the hood Canal.

We expected a quiet deck overlooking the water. Instead, there was a row of RVs right below our deck. There were people in the room right below us who also sat outside and talked but they were so close it felt awkward. Later that night it was really noisy. Room was clean but felt bare. Overall, a less than average experience.

Overall a real nice stay. It has the potential to be a "5". The room had a kitchenette with cupboards but no amenities like cups, plates, flatware or even a toaster. Also some sound proofing would help with the ability to hear the TV in the next room. We liked the spacious room and balcony overlooking the water and would definitely recommend this lodge.
