Bruton also plays host to the renowned Hauser and Wirth art gallery and the beautiful Newt in Somerset gardens. The historic city of Wells (10 miles) invites you to discover its awe-inspiring cathedral and medieval streets, while bohemian Glastonbury (9 miles) offers a rich mix of history and folklore – from the ruins of Glastonbury Abbey to the iconic Tor that overlooks the town. For days of outdoor adventure, explore the Mendip Hills National Landscape (10 miles) and uncover the famous caves at Cheddar Gorge (19 miles).
