5 The Pines is located at Shoal Bay Beach and walking distance to Shoal Bay shops, Resort and Spa and restaurants, so you can leave the car in the single lock-up garage or allocated car space and walk or ride to all the surroundings including Tomaree Headland and National Park where you will encounter the amazing views of Port Stephens and may even see a kangaroo and other wildlife. Shoal Bay's BIG Beach is only 300m away for a refreshing swim or choose from Zenith Beach, Wreck Beach or Box Beach if you prefer a surf beach.

Downstairs the property features high cathedral ceilings in the air-conditioned living area, CD sound system, 40-inch flat screen TV and DVD. The dining room flows off the living area and has a solid timber dining table and 6 matching chairs. The property comes with a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, wall oven, grill, stove top, microwave, fridge/freezer, and plenty of bench space. Internal laundry with a top loader washing machine and an enclosed rear paved courtyard for outdoor entertaining which leads out the side gate to a grassed area for the children to play. A second bathroom is also located downstairs in the single garage, it has a shower, toilet, and vanity.

Upstairs is where you will find the three bedrooms, all bedrooms have a split system air conditioner and ceiling fans, with bedroom two having the second TV. The main bathroom is also located upstairs, it has a standard size bath, shower, vanity, and toilet.

Other features include a single lock-up garage that can be internally accessed by the lounge room. There is a 2nd open car space next to the property which would accommodate 2 vehicles or a trailer boat (small axle trailer boat only).

Our stay was quite pleasant. Air Conditioning was great. However the dishwasher was too small for dinner plates and bowls. Also the plugs didnt work properly in the kitchen sink.
