A dog friendly property

This 3-bedroom retro beach cottage is an easy 300m walk to beautiful Shoal Bay Beach and shops. Soak up the sun and surf as you splash in the lovely calm bay waters, play on the sand, stroll the foreshore or even climb to the summit of Mount Tomaree for stunning views of the surrounding coastline.

This is a pet friendly property for those of you who like to bring the family dog along on holidays. There is a fully enclosed backyard and an on-lead dog exercise area just around the corner (please note that pets are not permitted inside the house).

Enter to the cosy lounge room with comfortable couches, a TV and DVD player and the dining area with a 6-seater setting. The lovely, bright kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven, microwave and a full size fridge - you can even play some tunes on the CD player or tape deck while you prep snacks for a day at the beach. Step outside to the enclosed, grassed backyard, with a picnic table, gas BBQ and space to run around.

Two of the bedrooms each have a queen bed, and the third bedroom has a tri-bunk (double on bottom, single on top). The bathroom has a bath (no shower) and toilet and there is a separate shower off the kitchen near the back door. The external laundry has a washing machine and second toilet.

Off-street parking is available for 2 cars, with one undercover and one open space.

Great location

Small but clean. Linen supplied but beds not made. No air conditioner , no internet or smart TV which really should be a given in this day and age, power board for Tv room did not work but we switched one around - outside deck was nice but no cover so if you had dogs nowhere undercover to sleep. No basic cleaning amenities. We liked the location and house was ok for what we needed for the weekend.

The property is great for a little family. Large backyard great for pets. Definitely in need of upgrading blinds, flyscreans. Would have enjoyed outside scenery more if there was a pergola on the deck.

Good for families with a dog

This is a comfortable little property, nothing fancy, but it was all we needed for a nice weekend away. Great for the dog, with a nice big backyard. The gate fence is not very secure though. Little dogs can fit underneath the fence. Bathroom is a little old, and the shower in the back room is an issue, as it means no one can go out hte back when someone is showering. All the blinds are broken and only one bedside lamp worked. Would have been good to have bedside lamps in each bedroom. other than that - was greatr

Great location, nice flat walk to beach and shops. No air conditioning, not pet safe.

Great location. No tea towels to dry up- a rule when vacating property. No dishwasher tablets for dishwasher. No air conditioning. Garden is not small pet safe. Big gap under fence. Shower is in poor location out the back of kitchen and limits people going from kitchen to outside area.
