Very Disappointing!

Arrived at the hotel to find it very different than as presented in Hotels.com. Common areas were dirty and littered. The room was very disappointing. Our Bathroom likewise. On arrival the desk clerk was lying down in foyer. The only thing that looked like the photos was the pool. In the end changed hotels. Requested a refund for our 2 nights (in fairness contrary to stated cancellation policy) and denied a refund.

My booking included airport shuttle and I paid for it (paid to Expedia). But after I booked, the hotel emailed me and said that the airport shuttle wasn't included. I had to pay separate if I wanted the airport shuttle. I explained to the hotel manager that the airport shuttle was included and I already paid to Expedia but he kept saying it wasn't. Moreover, the hotel does NOT have elevator but they didn't mention this on the Expedia website. It's not nice to a person like me because I have knees pain. So I strongly suggest that Expedia and King Boutique Hotel should fix this discrepancies for the future customers. For the record, the hotel manager and stuff are very polite and nice to me regardless.

Hotel is outdated

From the outside, the hotel looks pretty decent. After checking in, we headed to our room. We noticed that the door was left open. There were flies and mosquitoes in the room. Walls had some stains. The bathroom/shower had mold growing near the ceiling. We had to ask for toilet tissue and towels. Television didn't power on. The hotel is located near the markets. Overall not a great experience.

No hot water or toilet paper, lots of bugs in the room, air conditioning was warm, tv and safe did not function. Staff was a little pushy in the way that everyone in SR is trying to sell you something. Pool was nice and I saw them checking it several times. It’s not a fancy place at all, but quieter than a hostel for the same price. Good location. Not sure about safety. A young man died in his room on my first night there.

The only thing we were missing were hangers in cloth cabinet...but it was not a big deal, just it would be something to improve. Other than that King Boutique Hotel was very nice experience to remember. Very friendly people !!! Nice balcony and pool !!! Great place to stay, hope to come back.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!! The pictures that they show are not updated, probably are from when they opened the place. Was very filthy and very noisy. I booked this hotel for 8 days but I only stay one day because was terrible. The pool was unbelievable filthy. This place seems more like a homestay or a shelter.... I found a better place for the same price and even breakfast was included. And also I couldn't believe that Expedia wasn't able to return my money back... 1 star for expedia also.

Good value. Convenient. Comfortable.

Friendly staff, good location and good value. This is a basic hotel but clean and convenient. I was on the third level in the front room and the walk up the stairs was a bonus and good exercise! At night I worried that the club over the road would be pumping all night but come 11pm all went majestically quiet. This was a good base for me during my Siem Reap stay.

No view from window see only other walls and roofs. Worse than that very disturbed and loud noise at night from the night club in front the hotel.

This hotel was fine for my purposes, as I was just in Siem Reap in transit from one place to another. The location was good near Mekong Express bus station and restaurants. However, the room was not particularly clean or nice and I would not swim in the pool. If you are coming to Siem Reap for a vacation, you should be able to find a nicer place for a similar price. If you just need a convenient place to sleep, this place is fine.

Basic, but comfortable room

Good location, really close to bar street, and local eateries. There was a supermarket across the road, and always a lot of tuk tuk outside. The pool doesn't get any sun, and it's located right by reception, so everyone walking into/out of the hotel will see you. The breakfast was decent enough, basic but filled you up. I had a problem with the draining in the bathroom, therefore had to use towels to dry the floor. Internet on the first floor is very fast and reliable but very slow on the third floor (changed rooms to first floor). Staff were friendly, and they provide you with one free journey either from/to the airport. The rooms were spacious, and has a fridge.

Horrible experience

The photos are very misleading, it might have looked like that the day it opend or when it was run by other people but its nothing likr that now! Its run as a drop in center for locals. Its clear my familys live in full time in the "hotel" the condition is Extreamly run down irs shocking! Yes the pool looks great but has a shine muck on the too. We booked and paid to have a balcony to fibd its one communal balcony for every one! The entrance is FULL of mother bikes all over the place from locals that come and go. We have no water for about 4 hours and they didn't care just kept saying wait wait wait. I would not stay here again!! Its like hostel.

Just okay.

On the main road across the street from a disco/karaoke. Very loud bad music at night. Not the hotel’s fault. Just it’s location. Our room was not ready checkin day and they put us at a sister-hotel around the corner. Then they picked us up the next day. Very clean large room. Spotty WiFi. Strong AC. No English speaking channels on the 10 channels available on their cable tv.

A great hotel that is reasonably close to most of the facilities. The staff are incredibly helpful, and friendly, and while the rooms aren’t the best that I’ve seen, they are certainly worth the price you pay. There is also a supermarket across the street that is quite well stocked, so while the breakfast options aren’t that huge, there are decent options near by. They also have a mini-van that does regular airport runs, and will even arrange a pick up from the airport as well. This hotel is certainly highly recommended.

I really appreciated the way we were greeted, with a cold towel and a drink. I was looking for a little more ambitious and excitement. Also, the entrance to the hotel was full of scooters and made the place less attractive. The staff was nice and friendly.

Nice hotel with wonderful, cheerful helpful staff.

We stayed for 6 days and were very happy. The staff was the highlight of the stay. They were very friendly, cheerful, helpful and full of information, The room was clean cool and comfortable. Probably better than we expected considering the cheap price. The balcony had a good view of the pool and was a little noisy during the day. At night it was quiet.
