We stayed in a hotel room in Borgo Grondaie and found it very pleasant, the room had all the usual amenities and was of a fair size for two people with a large very comfortable bed, being typically British we only drink tea and often find hotel cups to be on the small size, but that’s a very personal thing, our only criticism would be we found the bathroom layout could have been better, had everything you needed, sink, toilet, bidet and shower, just felt a little cramped. The reception area / bar was excellent and we enjoyed an exceptionally brilliant breakfast every day, staff were all friendly and very accommodating to guests needs, outside facilities were all good and pool was great. Only downside is it’s location, due to Siena’s mountain top town centre, the walk into the main Piazza took a bit longer than expected at nearly 40 minutes, thankfully there is brilliant escalator system to help scale the hillside. Overall, very happy with our stay and would highly recommend and stay again. (If only for the breakfast !)

Dépaysant

Petit hôtel à l'extérieur des murailles de Sienne, mais à 20 min à pied. Pas besoin de gravir des marches d'escalier, un escalator monte à proximité des rempares. Proche de la gare (mais on n'entend pas les trains), au milieu de verdure. Joli cadre.
