What a joy to stay. From arrival to departure a swift professional service received. The river view rooms are dreamy with their peek-a-boo glimpses into the high rise metropolis apartment blocks. Great outdoor dinner and bar area with views of the river and bypassing pedestrian traffic, that drew me in and I sat there for hours sipping red wine and eating stake whilst watching the Singaporean night life floating by. A true gem in this very special Far East metropolis.

Good location

The hotel is set on the side of the river and you are able to eat and drink al fresco. There is a footbridge over the river where you will find a good selection of restaurants. There is also a pleasant river walk to Boat Quay via Clarke Quay which takes about 30 minutes. The nearest MRT station is at Chinatown which is about a 20 minute walk, but buses go downtown from outside the hotel. The hotel is very comfortable and the bathroom good. There is a swimming pool, but this will be closed for refurbishment at the end of February. Arrangements have been made for guests to have the use of a pool at a neighbouring hotel.

Nice Hotel /Noisey refurbishment underway

Nice Hotel & location but unfortunately the Hotel was undergoing refurbishment which we were not aware of when booking. There were workmen constantly in lobby lift area and tools to step over + constant drilling noise which was quite loud -We did not complain to Hotel , but they did upgrade our room on arrival as they were aware that the work was intrusive but work seem to be going on right above our room !! Would not have booked if we had been made aware that work was scheduled

great place in sng

the riverview hotel is well situatuated in the city of singapore. it's not the newest hotel, but has everything which is needed for a comfortable stay. it has an own bus service to orchard road and public busses also do stop directly in front of the hotel and it's only 4-5 stations away from the subway station (which can also be reached by foot within 15 mins. walking distance). enjoyed the 2 bottles of water every day.

VERY GOOD APART FROM LOSING CAMCORDER BAG

Had a wnderful stay apart from someone picking up our camcorder when we left it in the Internet room but as we saw on the CCTV camera he only took the camcorder and put the bag at the back underneath the worktop.We got the camcorder back but not the bag so we said who took the bag.They only showed us to 9.15pm at night and said no one else came in the room but did not show us.We know there is a waste paper basket so we think maybe they were not showing us something as there should have been staff to empty the bin!!Very odd!!!!

Great hotel and breakfast

Pros: Breakfast and smart phone.
Location: The japanese restaurant on 3rd is absolutely worth trying! It was recommended to us by one of Uber drivers.
We had a room on 12th floor. There was smart phone with internet in the room which we could take with us around the city. I really loved that, we had a chance to buy museum tickets online to skip the queues and order Uber cars. Perfect room, breakfast and overall experience.

Sejour agréable

L'hôtel Riverview est très bien situé, proche des artères commerciales du Singapour moderne comme de China Town. Les chambres renovees sont très bien équipées , avec des prises internationales, extrêmement propres. Seul bémol concernant la chambre que j'ai occupée , le lit était extrêmement dur. L'hôtel est parfaitement adapté à un séjour de quelques jours a Singapour.
