The staff are very helpful. The room was clean, although it was hard to find spots in the room to place our luggage. We had a problem with the air-conditioning three days before departure but we were given an upgrade to a junior suite on the 13th floor and it was great. The breakfasts are ample and delicious. The hotel is quite attractive. The WHAMPAO Market (fruit, veggies, food) is nearby as well as the Shaw Shopping Centre.

Overall an enjoyable stay. Positive 1. Very courteous staff especially Richard who went out of his way to help me change rooms when there was a problem 2. Breakfast is amazing 3. Fantastic stay, not as close to downtown as I would have preferred but thats my fault not the hotel. Breakfast was ample fresh and everything was readily available. Pool on 4th floor was very small. Gym was equipped Ok. Everywhere was clean and the maid service was excellent. The reception staff are extremely helpful and professional.

Holiday Inn Express, just with the brand and chain, it lives to its name. Nothing fancy, but very practical and close to the transport options and close proximity to major areas. It's also bit away from the downtown rush, but easy transport to the town in 15mins bus ride or taxi. The staff were brilliant and always responsive to any of your requests. Nice small pool and gym, all very accessible and does the job.

1. I had to leave for airport BEFORE breakfast. 2. Enjoyed beautifully remodeled room/shower 3. ... though lots of clanking from ? elevator cables or plumbing or both. 4. Staff were quite lovely - upbeat and friendly.. made a difference. (gave upgrade to room and 'free drink' coupon) - enjoyed my favorite Kahluea, but coffee wasn't hot ... and not covered by coupon.. oh well!. 5. Came / left by Grab car. Nice and large driveway made arrival/departure safe and easy. 6. ENJOYED the VEGETARIAN restaurant (not yours) on SECOND floor!!
