Near mrt and bus station

The uncle which is incharge on the 4th floor is not open for opinions or feedbacks from customers.. we weren't able to sleep well because the room smells like durian.. And about the shower rooms, maybe it's better if you put a note on the door of the shower stating that it is under repair or out of order.. Maybe your property will gain or attract more travellers if you maintain it properly.because as I have the notice the reception area is very tidy/clean and friendly atmosphere but the rooms are so disgusting. I am sorry for the word. We did not expect it. The total opposite of the pictures that are shown in expedia. I did not get my moneys worth. It is more like a 10 dollar per day accomodation.

worst hostel

Horrible hostel. Went to use the washroom and there was a rat running around, the sheets in the room had blood on them, you could hear EVERYTHING in the rooms next door so you can't sleep (there was a baby crying all night and people's phones and alarms were going off all night), we were told there would be breakfast but there was none, the beds were disgusting. I complained in the morning and the manager has agreed to give me a refund via hotels.com.

Absolute No No, unclean & stinking rooms

The room had a terrible stink, too small, smelly bathrooms, no facilities such as TV etc, highly cramped rooms. Hotel must do something and should not befool the tourists. Overall a terrible experience.

The hotel is JUST Dirty... it smelt terrible... the only good thing is the location.. the TV didnt work, the jaccuzzy was bad and it did not has a BBQ...

ITS INCREDIBLY DIRTY

Very bad... The place smells terrible!!! and it was all dirty... Beds hard and pillows made with something like sand inside.... The TV did not work on común area and the jacuzzi either... It does not has a BBQ... Not feel like a hostel vibe The only good thing it the location... Near the metro and bus stop But I would never come back... It's the worth place I have been...

Its my first visit in singapore,this hostel is accesable in all transportation,affordable food in a nearby places and malls, the hostel is quite clean and comfortable.Im sure ill be back again to stay in mercury backpackers hostel!tnx for the experience!

Room reserved not available. Room we got just sprayed for bed bugs and chemicals too bad to stay. Had to switch hotels. Also blood on wall from squashed bed bugs. Hotels.com very helpful

one door for two rooms is a disturbance. others ok

travel facilities ok. nice place. one door for two rooms is not better. it is disturbe to north rooms. that is the main fault of this hostal

There were a lot of bed bugs so make sure to have your sheets changed and choose the top bed. The mainstay indian (lady) who is also a guest is kind of rude and her stuff are all over the place and the room with her really smells bad amd she confronted me one time for turning off the aircon which i did not. Good thing that you can smoke downstairs or at fire exit. Bathrooms are not that clean and super hot. There are no free soap and shampoo. The website states that they serve breakfast but when i got there they said they dont anymore so it added to my expenses. The receptionist is very accommodating. No lift so i had to carry my luggage to the third floor. There was also a drunk guy one night sleeping at the common area.

In desperate need of maintenance

This place is pretty bad. The rooms are not clean, bathrooms are usable but not clean. The "rooftop Jacuzzi" is absolutely filthy, and I would consider it unusable. To add to that, the place isnt exceptionally cheap either. Can probably find better, look around.

Family vacation

Remember that this is a hostel and not a full service hotel. The room or rooms in our case because we booked the family room. Composed of 4 bunk beds slept our family of 7 quite comfortably. The showersettings and washroomsee which were shared were clean and organized well enough that we never really had to wait for using with the other guests. There is no longer free breakfast but the location was across the street from a 24 hour mall where you can taste the delights of Asia or for you not so adventurous a McDonald's and Burger King was also close by. The mrt was a 5 minute walk as well as a bus stop close by. Enjoyed our stay. Kudos to the staff. The front desk is not manned 24 hours but you can still use your pass key to get in after 8 pm. Would recommend this hotel to any budget concious traveller.

Good location, but tiny room and unclean

Convenient location, but room was tiny and not very clean, and neither was the bathrooms. There were no signs for escape routes in an emergency and the room had no windows. Walls were pretty thin, so you could hear other guests.

Lovely staff, but cramped and dirty.

Dirty rooms with bed bugs, and not a great experience to stay in. You get what you pay for to be honest! It's worth paying slightly more not to get infested with bed bugs to be perfectly honest. But the staff were very friendly, helpful and tolerant!

Worst hotel for stay at singapore with a premium

Very bad experience of stay @such price. A suffocatingly smallest & darkest room at 4th floor without lift inside another room with absolutely no room service. No space to move,keep luggage,No tv, even no mirror, dirty room. Dim light, common two toilets outside for 10 rooms. Entrance through another room with 6 other foreigners. Bitter & bad experience. Recommend never stay for anybody. Not expected such hotel room from hotels.com. My room no was 431 and my total money was waste. My hard earned money just robbed. These rooms none will stay if even available free.
