My friend and I stayed for two nights in a twin shared room. The room was modern, spacious, and had air conditioning, which was perfect for the Singapore heat. The bathroom was also modern and surprisingly large for the price we paid, and it included a bidet. We appreciated the communal kitchen and lounge area on Level 4, where we could refill our water bottles with filtered water. On our last day, we needed to do laundry before heading to another country, and it was very convenient to have a washer and dryer in the basement. The machines had a coin dispenser, and the washing machine didn’t require detergent as it was already built in. Our clothes came out smelling great. It cost $8 SGD to wash and another $8 to dry, so we combined our laundry to save on costs, which worked out well. The staff were also fantastic. Winson at reception was especially helpful. One of the machines took our money but didn’t work, and he kindly refunded us so we could use another. He was friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. It’s also just a 2-minute walk to Farrer Park Station, which connects to other MRT lines, making it easy to get to Chinatown, Harbourfront, Marina Bay, Gardens by the Bay, and Merlion Park. City Square Mall is also just 2 minutes away, which is super handy for lunch, dinner, shopping, groceries, and pharmacy needs. Overall, our experience at Owen House really added to our visit to Singapore. I will definitely stay here again when I return.

Great find for price

All overall, really great place. Rooms are basic but clean. Corridors are quite tatty but you dont sleep in corridors so doesnt matter, just mentioning so it not a surprise. Hotel in safe area, close to LRT stop. All Staff were supoer helpful. Overall great find for price. We would definitely stay again.

Being at the centre of Singapore it was easy to get around the country. A few minutes away from any food outlet or train station is a blessing. Sheets are cleaned every few days and no interrupsions to your peaceful sleep. Cheap price for such a great location. Definitely would book it again.

Mall just across the road with supermarket. Lots of food options around. 24hr Indian food court just across. MRT Exit and bustop just 2 min walk away. The hotel is aesthetically very pleasing and comfortable. For a small room it provides most of everything you need. The bathroom was really nice. A good amount of space with bidet and shower cabin separated by glass door. The only thing I didn't like so much was the pillows. It was too soft for me. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay. Shout out to Elfa, who remembered my name and addressed me with it! Appreciate the personal touch!

Our stay at this hotel was bot at all what wr expected we ended up leaving s night early due to getting a riom with no window when yhe picture on our booking clearly had a window. The white walls were covered in black marks the bathroom tiles were chipped they was a small rip in the bedding the hallway leading up to our room was dark and dingy. When we told the staff we were leaving early they didn’t even question it and ask why or how are stay was ? Not impressed that we had to pay an extra $550 to change hotel, when what we booked and what we ended up with were clearly not the same.

The hotel is good and its in great location. But don't have book your hotel through Expedia or Hotel.com. There is no support, even you send email, it will come back that their mailbox is full
