It was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the bar. With a large crowd and lots of demand before and after the event at the Tyson Center, there was ONE employee taking care of the whole bar! Did you not know there was an event next door and you had a full house???

It was a great experience. Check in was easy. Breakfast was great with a wide variety. The coffee was excellent. We ate at the SoHo which was 5 minutes away.

Great stay

We loved this hotel! We enjoyed the rustic theme, an affordable upgrade, drinks at the hotel bar, and the outdoor area was lovely for swimming and hanging out in the morning with coffee. The only downside was that in the King bunk room, the bunk bed mattresses were terribly uncomfortable, to the point that I had to take an air mattress from our vehicle for our friend to sleep on

The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. And the included breakfast was good. We recently stayed in a very nice Stoney Creek Hotel in another state and it was awesome, so we decided to get reservations at the Sioux City Hotel. But what a disappointment. The mattress and pillows were very lumpy and the sheets were awful. It felt as if we were sleeping on sandpaper. The overall feel of this property is tired, outdated and the decor is very dusty and in need of a deep cleaning. New paint inside and out, new bedding and decor needed throughout.
