Breakfast was awesome! The hostess/waitress was wonderful and treated the place like her own, cleaning and working continually. The check in at 4 o'clock several employees were gathering and chattering, while we waited to check in...(Only 1 chance to make 1st impression) ......probably best to gather/chatter/meeting behind the wall.... Only problems: The curtains, carpet, microwave and furniture was worn.... very worn.... at the price we paid, that wasn't cool. (Room 403) The grounds were unkept with litter, but it has been windy in the last month. (Daily walk about to clean?) OVERALL: Not a good look for convention/wedding party, etc......But we were just there 2 nights for hockey at Denny Sanford.

The only complaint I have is the pool area had used towels everywhere but I know that’s not a staff issue and more of a people that stay there are just lazy. This is my go to hotel when I travel to SF.

My only dissatisfaction was with the food service. Breakfast ended at 10 and lunch didnt start until 11. Dinner was sporadic. Never figured out when they opened. The bar didnt open until 2:30. However our server, Avery was excellent. Had a fire in the hotel at midnight and the manager comped my room that day.

It is certainly nice for event stays. I would only give the food at the restaurant a B. But the staff was very good. The bar area with the waterfall is cool. I've stayed here several times and will again.
