Great choice for exploring Sirmione

Excellent choice for exploring Sirmione, very near the old town and walking distance to everything. Free parking (!) and very helpful staff. Beautiful lake views from the terrace of the room.

Nice hotel for couples looking to explore the area

The hotel fitted our needs, close to the beach, restaurants, etc. The room was basic enough but didn't lack anything we needed. The bed was quite firm but that's the only (if even) negative. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and assisted us with booking a wine tour, even after we had checked out. Would be happy to stay here again!

Good location, but lacking service & ambience

The view, the room and the front desk were very good. However, we signed up for dinner. They had one section that was a self-service salad bar and then on another bar, they had set out fruit with plates. I served myself some fruit and was immediately SET UPON by the waiter. I received a scolding and when we went in for dinner the second night, there were big signs facing our table saying NO SELF SERVE THE FRUIT !!! We spoke to the waiter about this he pointed at me and said "The sign is only for YOU." I was offended and embarrassed. We did not eat there again. One day, the lift was not working and my daughter went up to see if it was stuck on the next floor. She touched the door and it started up. BUT the concierge began yelling at her: "Don't touch the door, only the call button". A lot of drama for nothing. Besides, the lift began working. One more important thing. Even though we had a lake view, the beach in front of the hotel was mud and poorly tended rocks and a bit smelly. There are many, many hotels on the lake as good or better than this one. Give Miramar a miss.

Holiday of a lifetime.

The hotel was an extremely good three star bordering on four star. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast had a good selection and you could pay if you wanted a cooked one. Although there was a limited selection on the menu for the evening meal, the food was excellent and beautifully presented. The hotel is located on the peninsula and has its own grass beach with a jetty. The pool was wonderful and it never got over busy, neither did the sun beds! There were lots of things to do from water sports, boat trips and visiting the historic town of Sirmione. The bus service was good and only takes 45 minutes to get to Verona.

Amazing hotel close to Sirmione!

I stayed here for 3 nights and couldn't have been happier with my experience. Great location within 10 mins walking distance of all the main Sirmione attractions, staff were incredibly helpful and gave local tips and booked trips for me. Would definitely recommend and will be back again!

Sirmione stay

A very welcoming hotel with ample shaded parking close to the bridge over to the island of Sirmione. Easy access to the resorts and sights south of Lake Garda including the amusement parks too. Breakfasts looking out over the lake from the patio/veranda were magical.

Not flash but family room with connecting doors was clean small second room but fine for the kids. Nice views, pool and breakfast was fine. Friendly and helpful staff X

The perfect place to stay

We had always wanted to visit Lake Garda and be able to explore the region and enjoy the beautiful views. The Mirama Hotel was the perfect place to stay; well located with easy access, a wonderful room overlooking the lake and staff who always greeted us with smiles. It really made our holiday so relaxing with such a lovely base to explore from and when we spent time there it was fascinating to watch the wildlife at the edge of the lake from our room and from the private jetty. Thank you Miramar.

great find

this is a cute little property. A five minute walk you reach the tip of Sirmione where lots of restaurants and shops are located. the property id well taken care of, and the staff was friendly and very helpful. the breakfast was a buffet with a wide variety of choices. The rooms are equipped with all necessary items and are very clean. It has ample parking which makes stating in Sirmoine much easier. We found the experience there to be peaceful and relaxing. We would recommend this property to anyone.

Needs modernising

Basic hotel but it's what you'd expect from a 3 star, it does need modernising though. We upgraded to a superior room which gave us a stunning view of the lake. Free wifi very good, tea/coffee in the room along with a fridge was a plus. Overall you get what you pay for.

Wonderful Place to Stay

We were so impressed with the Hotel Miramar. The location can't be beat. The first day we walked down to the castle area which was very close and very easy to walk. The next day we drove around the lake which was easy because it was off-season and the traffic wasn't bad. We would have taken a boat cruise but it was too late in the season for that. The room was top-grade and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The breakfast was very good. We also ate supper there one night and it was delicious as was the pizza we bought from the hotel and ate on our balcony. The staff is so accommodating. Everything we needed or any questions we had were immediately addressed both professionally and in a friendly manner. We would definitely recommend the Hotel Miramar and would stay there again.

Fantastic location

Great location, only minutes away from historic town centre. Property is not new, but well maintained, clean and tidy. Rooms are basic, but spacious and contain all necessities. Staff was extremely pleasant, breakfast buffet was very good, hotel facilities such as pool, direct access to lake Garda, surrounding gardens and ample free parking were all good too. A perfect spot if you want to be close to the hustle and bustle of the town centre, but also want to take advantage of free on site parking, access to a pool etc.

Sirmione!

Great location - close to main town. Very friendly staff, and knowledgeable. Great breakfast. Great pool for kids and for relaxing. Large outdoor sitting area and large grassy area for lounging. Lots of parking.

Good hotel, though final charge for stay was considerably more than advertised............disappointing, the actual location of the hotel as advertised was less than clear, and slightly misleading. In this sense, I would not recommend it.
