Our house at Black Butte Ranch has been extensively remodeled to give it a modern, cabin-house vibe. The kitchen was completely remodeled in May 2024 The master bedroom has a King bed and its own bathroom. There is an additional full bath on the first floor, as well. The upstairs houses two bedrooms; one with a queen bed and another with one twin, a double and a love seat sofa with a foldout twin. This twin room is an ideal place for kids and teenagers to sleep, and includes a 55" TV/DVD/VCR and a balcony. Also on the second floor is a loft with a futon that converts into a full bed. There is a third full bathroom on the second floor. A large new remodeled kitchen is downstairs, with a separate dining room that has windows on three sides. In the living room are comfy chairs and a sofa, making it a perfect setting to play a family game or curl up with a book in front of a fire. There is also a 58" TV/DVD (Smart TV's with Wi-Fi connection, no cable TV) in the living room. The living room's large windows look out on the deck to the second fairway of the Big Meadow golf course. With large decks on both the front and back of the house, you can chase the sun or shade all day. This is a quiet section of Black Butte, and only a short walk to the Big Meadow Clubhouse and the the Main Lodge complex. The address is 71168 Bracken Lane, also known as Golf Home 59. There is Free Wi-Fi at the house and at other ranch locations. There is a nice selection of adult and kid bikes for your use, six adult bikes and four junior bikes. Other recreational equipment may be rented from the Rec Center. The house includes everything you will need to make your stay at Black Butte enjoyable and memorable. There are close to 100 classic DVD and VHS videos to view, both adult and kid titles.

Guests will no longer need to pay a $9 per day per person fee that was paid at the Welcome Center upon checking in to Black Butte. Guests will no long pay this daily fee.

Great location

GH 59 was a great home for my family’s stay. The remodeled kitchen was very nice, the pantry was big with lots of room for our food, and the appliances took care of our every need. We took advantage of the available bikes and loved being so close to the lodge pool and the meadow. The owner was very accommodating and available. You can’t go wrong with this home.

Fairway home pleasantly located among the pines.

This VRBO is a beautiful home pleasantly located in a pine forest set back slightly from a fairway. We played bocce (our own set) in the gap between the well spaced neighboring properties as dried pine needles rained down around us in the afternoon breeze. Great neighborhood for pushing a stroller while getting a breath of fresh air. The house is well appointed with comfortable beds & three bathrooms, gathering spots, a complete kitchen for making meals, plenty of frig space, games & a few interesting reading choices. We hiked Black Butte, soaked & swam in one of several neighborhood pools, banged a few balls at the driving range, had a beer on a walk to the somewhat nearby pro shop/tavern/restaurant, (we took many walks about the hood) & visited nearby Sisters. Ran out of time to use the provided bikes. This was a great place for our family getaway. I would recommend it highly; you won’t be disappointed.

Great Location at Black Butte Ranch

We had three generations- ages 20 to 79- enjoy a week at this Black Butte Ranch home. We love BBR and this location was great for getting in/out of the ranch and accessing Big Meadow and Lakeside facilities. There's also lots of level walking and bike riding opportunities. The deck out back was a wonderful place to spend tiime watching golfers, reading, sunning, playing cards, grilling and dining. I gave 4 stars on cleanliness only because it was the end of the season and due for a carpet cleaning. Everything else was very clean and well represented in the pictures. We did a lot of cooking and found everything we needed plus plenty of prep space in the kitchen. The owners were incredibly responsive, communicative and accommodating. Overall a great experience.

We had a wonderful time at Robert and Terry's house. As others have said, there is a gourmet kitchen with everything you need. (kitchen lights need upgrading.....not as noticeable at night).(5*'s anyway :)) Master bedroom was exceptionally quiet and private feeling, in spite of a full house otherwise. Our granddaughters really had a blast at the ranch and really want to come back. We cooked most of our dinners on the grill and the evenings are magnificent --glass of wine and watching the golfers, able to chip and putt when the golfers evaporate. We were able to park our small car in the garage to avoid the sap. What could be better, if you are a car freak. This is our 2nd week at the ranch (last time 10 years ago-different house) and we decided to make this an annual event. until I can not do it anymore. Thanks Robert and Terry

Awesome location ... very near Big Meadow Golf and Lodge Pool. Felt private even with 2nd hole fairway behind us and houses on either side ... but seemingly some distance away. Great deck for relaxing and cookout with friends. Worked very well for 2 couples and a single but would've worked well with kids in the third bedroom. Kitchen was very well stocked and plenty of room for multiple people to cook at the same time. Roomy bedrooms and common areas. Great communication from owners prior to visit. Overall a wonderful week with great comfort and no problems. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Great Black Butte Location!

We've stayed in many homes at BBR over the years, but this was our favorite location...close to everything, on the golf course and a beautiful quiet street! The house was so well stocked and organized...a great kitchen and eating area for the entire family, and great outdoor space to enjoy beautiful BBR evenings. The bikes were awesome... a good variety of sizes and all in good condition. We had a super week with our kids and 3 young grandsons!

Lovely home and setting! It was spacious and worked well for our family (4 adults and an 18 month old). Was especially impressed with the organization of the kitchen and the tools available (even included a garlic press, lemon squeezer and salad spinner!).

We had a wonderful stay in Black Butte. The pool was amazing and the house was super comfortable. The kitchen couldn’t have been better stocked for our nightly family feasts. Lots of outdoor seating for the family. We enjoyed some nice central Oregon river hikes and spent a few night listening to music at Black Butte and at Suttle Lake Lodge. Highly recommend a stay here. The Sherrer’s home was everything we could have needed.

Comfortable home, great location

This house was well laid out and very comfortable. It had almost everything we needed as far as kitchen supplies. The only thing we really missed was a larger tv, only because we had the Olympics on while we were in the house. We didn't use the back deck much and never uncovered the tables because the weather was a little more humid than normal and we had a bit of smoke part of the week. The property manager/owner, Robert, was easy to work with and prompt in his communications.
