Apartment Alegria, managed exclusively by Sitges Hills Villas, is a delightful sea view apartment in one of the best beach front locations in the whole of Sitges. This absolute gem of an apartment enjoys a wonderful position overlooking the beach in the beautiful and highly popular San Sebastian area of Sitges.The sunny balcony has fantastic sea views and is the ideal place to relax with a drink while watching the hustle and bustle of the seafront promenade below.There are numerous restaurants, cafes and beach bars around the apartment and it’s a pleasant 2-minute stroll to the heart of the Sitges town.If you are looking for a comfortable apartment with stunning sea view and with the beach and other amenities right outside your door then Apartment Alegria (happy in English) is the perfect choice for your holiday.ACCOMMODATIONThe apartment entrance is located on street level. There is a flight of steps leading to the front door of the apartment and as you enter there are a few steps up from the hallway into to the beautiful, light and airy living room. There are mirrors along one wall designed to reflect sunlight and enhance the images of the beach and sea.There are two new comfortable sofas, with a coffee table just in front of the sliding glass doors that open out to the delightful balcony, which is ideal for al-fresco dining while enjoying the lovely views of the beach and watching life go by below you.There is also a dining table that can seat 4 guests and a TV. Although the living room enjoys cooling sea breezes through the balcony doors, a ceiling fan is also provided for your comfort. There is also an air conditioning unit in the hallway that cools the whole apartment.The separate double bedroom located to the back is stylishly furnished with a comfortable double bed, atmospheric lighting and a ceiling fan for comfort.The kitchen area is equipped with a 2-ring hob, microwave oven, refrigerator and coffee maker. Crockery and pots and pans are all provided.The fully tiled bathroom has a shower, WC and hand basin. A washing machine is also available for guest use.Good to know– The apartment is on the seafront and so there may be some noise from the pedestrianised street below at times. However, the bedroom is located at the back of the apartment and so is generally quiet.– The beach and all amenities are right on the doorstep.– The train station is a 5-minute walk.– There are ceiling fans in all rooms and a single air-conditioning unit to keep the apartment cool.– There is no private parking but paid parking options are available in the area.– Unfortunately, Apartment Alegria is not suitable for wheelchair users.Our office in Sitges is on hand, should you need us, during your stay.These prices do not include tourist tax of 1,00 € / person / day. This must be paid on arrival.

Lovely location

Perfect location, just a few steps from the beach. Great balcony for watching all the activity, which while we were there included filming for TV, ballet lessons on the beach and a parade of giants. Apartment was clean, well equipped and modern. Helpful team at the offce, although a bit out of the way Quite a few steps to door and a few more inside.

Amazing

Location, location, location, we stayed for 2 weeks in this amazing apartment and totally enjoyed our stay, people watching and chilling on our balcony, ordering pizza from the restaurant below on many occasions. The apartment is very well maintained and clean. We felt very local when we took the provided shopping trolley to get our supplies, will be back, can't recommend enough.

Beach Life Spanish Style

This property was wonderful and right on the beach. Watching the comings and goings of the Sitges daily life from the balcony was better then watching TV! The restaurants on the Promenade have a wide variety of food options and the 4 places we tried were delicious! The apartment staff was AMAZING (Taryn is a total sweetheart), super prompt and always helpful with any questions. This trip was a girls weekend (just 2 of us) and our decision to stay at this apartment in Sitges (south & outside of the hustle and bustle of Barcelona) was the best decision ever! We enjoyed our stay and slept very well however, the bed is quite small for a couple sharing.

The apartment is in need of little updating. The door leading to the washing machine has privacy blinds which need replacing. And hanging for laundry is too small and the area was not clean. The photo of the living room shows an L shaped sofa. There were 2 sofas. Having an L shaped sofa was more preferable. The cupboard and drawer space is tired and grubby and would benefit with gloss paint

The location was absolutely perfect as is the layout. The only issue I had was how worn the furniture was in the front lounge. The bedroom, kitchenette and bath were fine. The towels for the bath were really worn as well.

This was a lovely place. Very clean. Best part is the location. Right on the water. The main room has a large couch that you can sit on and gaze at the sea. There are 5 or 6 steps to get to the bathroom, bedroom and kitchen.

Great location although be prepared for some noise

Location couldn't have been better - across the street from one of the beaches and easy walk to all of the others as well as all of amenities in town and restaurants along the beach. Apartment is right above a number of popular restaurants and the main drag that people stroll along at night so very noisy if the windows are open. Also non-stop truck delivery action in the morning. Not a problem is doors are closed and you are inside but you will hear it all if you sit on the veranda. Apartment was clean and had most of the basic cooking utensils. Beware that the management company only gives one set of bath towels, which makes it tricky if you are staying for more than a few days and want to clean and dry them in time for use that day. Also no other amenities are included - there was one roll of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels for a one week stay. So be prepared to bring/buy all of the basics that you will need for apartment living. We had some issues with bad smells and the management company addressed them immediately, which was great. All in all I would highly recommend.

An ideal and comfortable break

The apartment is bright and perfectly adequate. Although we did no cooking at all during our 4 nights there, the kitchen is adequately stocked with equipment. It is comfortable and the views are sensational. Time spent on the balcony overlooking the Bay can't be beaten. A lovely short break - we enjoyed ourselves and were very comfortable. The staff at Sitges Villas were very efficient, and helpful and when we did have a question, they dealt with matters promptly and in a caring manner.

This was a wonderful unit with the most amazing view from the balcony and from the living room. The unit is well equipped and very comfortable. Sitges is a beautiful place to spend time. The restaurants just below do not interfere with the enjoyment of the property, in fact, it's great to only have to go a few steps to enjoy the wonderful food choices. Beautiful apartment with fabulous views

Beautiful apartment. The mirrors in the lounge are very effective. We loved staying there. Had everything that you could possibly need. We loved sitting on the balcony watching the world go by. If you are into people watching then this is the perfect apartment. Three restaurants directly below you which serve fabulous food. Would definitely book this apartment again if we are revisiting Sitges.

My husband & I stayed at the Apartment Algeria in October 2016. We were blown away by the fabulous views, from the huge window & balcony overlooking the beach & cathedral. The apartment itself is very comfortable with large settees in the sitting room & a mirror covering one wall which gives the impression of a much larger room. The mirror also reflects the wonderful view. The bedroom is at the rear, which is lovely & quiet with a very comfy bed & tastefully decorated. Next door is the bathroom with a very spacious shower. The kitchen is quite small & compact but well kitted out with pans, utensils, cutlery etc. Our only niggle was the lack of an oven, as my husband loves to cook, but we managed by buying an electric grill pan which did the job nicely. We spent a couple of very pleasurable evenings eating delicious food bought from the fabulous markets in Sitges & Barcelona & watching the people wandering up & down the seafront. I'm already looking forward to planning our next visit to Sitges & will definitely book the same apartment.

Great place to relax with awesome oceanview!

Nice tiny apartment which is directly located at the beach. Lots of restaurants and bars are close by and it's just a view minutes walk to the historic center of Sitges. You can easily spend several days here without a car as you can take the train to visit Barcelona or small tiny cities along the coast. Or just sit on the balcony and enjoy the awesome oceanview and listen to the sound of the ocean. We stayed the 2nd time at the apartment and really enjoyed everything, except one thing. The cleanliness of the apartment unfortunately got worse since our last visit (dirty spots on the carpet and on the pillows which could need a general cleaning).
