5 star plus good hotel with very nice and friendly staff help you with anything in nice quiet area would recommend and would stay here again everytime we come down to skegness. Staff there are loverly

The Waves Hotel

The room was fantastic, it was clean and tidy. The bathroom was slightly smaller than normal but this was due to us booking a standard room. We enjoyed our stay. The room had tea and coffee facilities and because of the area it was quiet which was a positive because we could sleep. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Not as bad as i was expecting following previous reviews. Every ok and as descibed. Just very basic and lacking in any personality. Be great at half the price as a working mans stop over.

Don’t stay here.

This hotel is not clean not very well ran my room was ok but my friends door didn’t lock they said they couldn’t do anything about it there were holes in the wall and the room hadn’t seen a Hoover or or a duster in a long time.

Our room was ok for 1 night...there was no where to hang clothes, no where to sit and do hair, room needed some tlc...there was someone arguing around midnight felt like they was in the room, you have to pay £3.50 to park on hotel cash only, we couldnt lock our door the guy came and helped said there was a way to do it we than couldnt open it took us ages on leaving we couldnt lock it again

Broken bed, carpets were worn ripped and the whole place just wasnt inviting. Room was small and nothing like the picutres. Checked out within 2 hours of checking in and went 10 minutes up the road for £20 more and the new place was immaculate

Definatley not a 3.5 star hotel more like a unclean Hostel.shower was very dirty with someone else's hair, no hand wash, no shower gel.Reception was closed after booking in, unable to complain or ask for anything.Bed was broken and sheets had holes, wish i read reviews before booking.

Okay stay, not the warmest or friendliest of hosts. Area felt a bit dodgy with some shouting etc outside, I guess not much anyone can do about that. No where to hang clothes in the room, bedside light but no where to plug it in, world's smallest towel. Room okay for one night's stay, priced appropriately. Location not too far from Train/Bus Station and easy walking distance to shops/restaurants/beach. Probably would not stay again.

This property is not fit for purpose. For £80 a night I expect more. The host was non existent. The stair carpet was filthy. The bedroom had a small double with iffy bedding and no facilities to hang clothes. DO NOT BOOK THIS ‘HOTEL’

Where do I start. The cleaner hadn’t been so the room had dirt everywhere. The owner had another job ‘down the road’ so was unavailable to complain too. We would of moved to another hotel but it was too late in the day to wander round skeggy after 100 mile bike ride. And how would I get a refund as the owner was ‘down the road’ Truly awful experience .
