The stone country house Laas Daskios is located in the Anania area of Skopelos, in a semi-mountainous and green area of our island, geographically located between Skopelos Chora and Panormos and at an altitude of 360 meters, in an olive grove.
"Laas" ... a Homeric word meaning Stone while Daskios means in the shade of the forest ( sti Skia tou Dasous ). So the name Laas Daskios, means in Greek The Stone house in the shadow of the forest.
The house comfortably accommodates 2-4 guests.
The space
The house inside is modern and light.
It has a single space where we meet the living room, the dining room and the kitchen.
On one side is the main entrance while on the other side of the kitchen is the other door which also leads us directly to the estate.
The whole house has screens on all the windows, the balcony doors of the bedrooms and even on the two main doors, and even though it is a stone house, well built and therefore cool, it also has air conditioning in all areas. From the large windows and doors that look like paintings you will be able to enjoy the beautiful view and the direct contact with the enchanting nature of our island.
It is airy, bright and comfortable, while its southern orientation gives it the gentle breeze of the Aegean sea breeze.
It is a residence harmoniously connected with the environment and with respect to it. Essentially, the house is a part of the beautiful nature of our island, that's why you can immediately go out to the land from all the doors of the house. Depending on the time of day, there is natural shade both from the building itself and from the trees.
It is a quiet and beautiful place and ideal for those looking for rest. At night you enjoy the stars while during the day the butterflies and hawks.
The kitchen is fully equipped. In the living room there is also a small wc.
It has two large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and with an exit direct to the land to both sides ( east and west )
One bedroom has a double bed 1.60m X 2.00m.
The second bedroom has two single beds 0.90 x 2.00 m which can be joined and fitted together to form a double bed.
The beds and pillows are by Media Strom and are very comfortable.
They have large open wardrobes.
