Girls Getaway

Hotel was in a great location, close to everything! it was a basic hotel room but it really was just somewhere to shower and sleep for us! hotel staff were lovely and very kind would stay again!

It's good for the price

The Hotel is at a good location. Convenient for the transportation and restaurants. The entrance is a bit awkward - you either have to go thru the neighboring restaurant or climb the stairs to the first floor.

Recommended for backpackers, young travellers and the unfussy (+a warning for those staying in 2011)

Firstly, it needs to be made clear that the 3 star rating is a bit misleading, though this is in keeping with Malta's somewhat generous hotel rating system. The amenities, decor and general repair of the building are at best perfunctory, and in this sense you pay for what you get. The trade off is that it is in a fantastic location by the seafront close to the centre of Sliema. The staff are frendly and helpful, which is no small way a saving grace too. (It might be worth mentioning that there is also wifi available, which cost 2 Euro to connect but lasted my whole stay). The overall feel is of a hostel, hence the title of my review. I would definitely book again. ***a warning to anyone staying in 2011 however; the building next to the hotel is being renovated, with incredibly noisy work going on 6 days a week from 7.30am. The building looked far from completed when I stayed in mid August.

Basic, sea view

Pros: location, view
Cons: Basic hotel, quite old, need some renewal. Bed not so comfy, no mattress pad.
Location: Few minutes to Valletta by ferry. Bus stop right outside the hotel, connections all over the island. Good restaurants.
Shower, bed, small fridge. Sea view, awesome sunrise in the morning and moonlight at night. Great location; supermarket, restaurants, bus stop and harbor near. Friendly staff, simple breakfast. No free wifi in the room. Budget.

Ei voi suositella. Ilmastointi ei toimi, tähän huoneeseen kuului kaikki meteli keittiöstä, koska ikkuna oli keittiöön menevään kuiluun päin.

Helppo mennä ja tulla. Hyvä sijainti.

Hotelli on mainio sijainniltaan. Yksinkertainen sisustus, mutta kelpo muuten. Suihku hieman säntäili huoneessani ja vettä tulvi siten lattialle, Parveke oli hyvä. Näköala merelle. Aamiaisaika mätti. Loppui jo kello 9!!! 10 tai 10.30 asti olisi aivan hyvin voinut saada aamupalaa, Hintaan kuuluva aamiainen jäi siis minulta käyttämättä. Wifi toimi jotenkuten - huoneessa vain silloin tällöin, mutta alakerran tiloissa sai yhteyden. Maksoi 2 euroa, Ei siis ollut kallis, mutta olisi pitänyt saada ilmaiseksi, kuten nyt hotelleissa yleensä Hotellin alakerrassa ja naapurustossakin hyvä ravintola.

Hôtel Roma Malte

Agréable. Défaut principal : le manque de climatisation. Le personnel est parfois austère, mais, par rapport au prix, cet hôtel est vraiment une bonne affaire.
