Bor här i jobbet då & då & tycker det brukar vara trevligt & bra, en fin gammal herrgård med fint läge, men den här gången var det mindre bra. Internet funkade inte, skrivbordsstolen höll på att ramla ihop, det luktade avlopp på toan & jag fick frukost i en påse (kl 07). Kostade drygt 1800:-, inte ok.

Vacker plats nära sjö

Väldigt fint, välplanerat enkelrum. God frukost (lite hembakt bröd skulle ha förgyllt), trevlig, hjälpsam personal. Ingen mat på kvällen, bara på lördagar och sommarbuffé mitt på dagen lördagar och söndagar. Bar som stängde kl 18, tror jag. Kylskåp i mitt hus. Den ena lampan i badrummet funkade inte, men den andra gjorde det, så det var ok. Jag sa till, så det är säkert ordnat av elektriker nu. Hade husdjur i badrummet, först en skalbagge, se en till. Men jag har bott på landet, så jag bekymrade mig inte om det. Denna byggnad var säkerligen riktigt gammal också (men i fint skick!).

Fint ställe

Trivsamt ställe omgivet av vacker natur och sjön med brygga och badmöjligheter. Stor matsal med flera rum, mycket vacker miljö att sitta och äta. Maten var väldigt bra, duktig kock. Vi stannade fredag till söndag så vi åt middag två kvällar. Frukosten var också bra. All personal var så vänlig och service minded och ungdomarna som hjälpte till med servering var så duktiga och trevliga. Vi var mycket nöjda med vistelsen.

Fint men se upp med informationen

Fint ställe, trevlig service men bristfällig information: Middag fanns inte enlig hemsidan - vi tog en pizza på vägen men väl framme såg vi den finaste altan där folk åt och drack. Snopet! Rummet skulle ha balkong - det visade sig vara en gemensam balkong för ett helt litet hus. Helt okej men tyvärr blev ju också det snopet. Också info om frukoststart och var rummet låg var nära att bli fel - men det klarade sig… Lugn och skön omgivning. Man kan gå ner på en brygga i sjön Barken och ta ett dopp. Härligt!

Äldre par på nostalgibesök

Vår dotter firade sin bröllopsfest på Wanbo Herrgård för drygt 20 år sedan. Våra föräldrar och farföräldrar var goda vänner till tidigare ägare Hanna Wanbo och Annie Wärnström och var på många fester på Wanbo. Roligt återuppliva gamla minnen och uppleva nostalgikänsla. Allt var till utmärkt belåtenhet.
