When you arrive at this 3-bedroom 2.5-bathroom duplex you can’t help but enjoy island living. Located on the North end of Topsail Island this property offers quiet oceanfront living away from the hustle and bustle. Upon entering the home you have two spare bedrooms, a full bathroom as well as a washer and dryer on the first floor. The oceanside bedroom offers a queen size bed and a 2-panel sliding glass door providing ample amount of natural light and an endless view of the Atlantic Ocean. The roadside bedroom sleeps 4, with 2 twin beds, each with a twin trundle. The middle floor consists of a fully equipped kitchen and dining area which opens up to the living room. The living room has comfortable seating and a second flat screen TV. Off of the living room is your half bathroom. The open concept is enhanced by large windows and a 2-panel sliding glass door to the private deck. This is the perfect place to watch the waves crash on the beach and enjoy a cold drink. The master suite is on the third floor and offers a king size bed. It has a flat screen TV and a private bathroom. This property is conveniently located steps away from a public beach access and is located on beautiful Topsail Island. Cannot beat the location. Even with a rainy week, the proximity to the water made it easy to take advantage of the times the weather did cooperate. There was a roof leak on our first day and the owner got it taken care of super fast and the rest of the week was issue-free.

Great beach house

If you’re looking for a restful vacation spot, this is it. The area is fairly quiet and peaceful. The house does have a lot of narrow steps and only the bottom floor can access the beach. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Too many steep stairs

The duplex really needs renovated. The floors are very uneven. It needs new sliding doors as the frames are in very bad shape, very hard to open and close . The decks need updated also. It needs fumigated as we killed 8 large roaches. The kitchen was updated and had nice appliances and bathrooms were fine. The first two days we didn’t have any functioning air conditioning. I understand the unit is going to be replaced.
