Visit the author's childhood home or discover the history of the area in the alleyways and cobbled streets of the old town centre around the market square of the lively small town with culture, trade and entertainment. There are also well-known products and exciting experiences in the area around Vimmerby: The famous and delicious cheesecake is made in Frödinge, and the family brewery ÅBRO is located on the outskirts of the town. In the countryside you can kiss moose, ride a cable car and climb in the treetops, admire a unique motorbike collection, play and laze in an indoor playground or enjoy the peace and quiet in a museum or one of Vimmerby's parks.
