3. The Rotunda Church of St George: Built in the 4th century, this is the oldest building in Sofia, and around it is the archeological site of ancient Serdica.
4. National Institute of Archaeology with Museum: the Museum collections cover the complete study of the culture of tribes and peoples who have occupied present day Bulgaria from the remote past until the 18th century.
5. Museum of illusions: It's fascinating. It's fun. It's sure to be surprising. 400 m2 full of riveting illusions, wonderful atmosphere and helpful staff.
6. Ivan Vazov National Theater: Founded in 1904 by the artists from the “Salza i Smyah” theatre, initially, it was called simply the National Theatre, but soon after it was named after the prominent Bulgarian writer Ivan Vazov. The theatre’s Neoclassical building, designed by famous Viennese theatre architects Hermann Helmer and Ferdinand Fellner, was finished in 1906 and opened in 1907.
7. National Palace of Culture (NDK): one of the largest multifunctional conference and cultural centers in the world. Annually, the NDK is host to over 300 events such as international conventions, political forums, business conferences, scientific symposiums, music and film festivals, concerts, dance performances, theatre, exhibitions and fairs.
8. Sofia University Saint Kliment Ohridski: the oldest institution of higher education in Bulgaria. Founded on 1 October 1888, the edifice of the university was constructed between 1924 and 1934 with the financial support of the brothers Evlogi Georgiev and Hristo Georgiev (whose sculptures are now featured on its façade)
9. Amphitheatre of Serdica: Serdica was the capital of the eastern province of Dacia Mediterranea - part of the Great Roman Empire. Тhe Amphitheatre is the only one in the world, combining a Roman theatre and a late antique amphitheatre in one place and the only such public building in the Balkans.

Line M2 (Obelya - Vitosha): Hop on at Serdica or Lavov most (Lions Bridge) for direct access to the central railway and bus stations. This line is your link from the railway to our doorstep.
Line M4 (Obelya - Sofia Airport): From Sofia Airport, catch this line to Serdica or Opalchenska stations for a smooth arrival.
