Holidays in a 200-year-old detached Jura house directly on the hiking trail. Children up to 3 years free. Dogs are very welcome. Car parking space available. If you need new ideas for your garden, you can get them at the nearby Stiegler natural stone garden paradise. The house is located directly in the old quarry area, where today only a few activities of the quarry companies take place, but hobby geologists or fossil collectors are welcome here and do not have to hike too far to arrive directly at the site where the original spring was found. A place to relax and unwind, but also just 2 kilometres from the off-road park. You will also find your very own personal ideas of culture in this varied and exciting environment with its exemplary preserved history: for example, warm, hospitable people, inviting inns, beer gardens, wine taverns and cafés. Plus varied regional cuisine with tasty specialities. Here you can also indulge in spa treatments and be active by hiking, swimming, cycling or boating. Or you can take advantage of the many opportunities to pursue other hobbies. Anyone who draws, paints, photographs or films will find fantastic motifs everywhere. Not only fossil collectors are in their Eldorado here. Nature lovers will encounter the rare, protected flowers, herbs and butterflies of the dry heath. Railway and car romantics will be in raptures, while Romans, knights and lansquenets come back to life.
