The good: staff was friendly, check in and out was quick and easy. Bed was comfortable and clean, bathroom was clean and nicely supplied except Kleenex was missing. The definitely not good: several things were just disgusting - the phone receiver, handle of hair dryer, office chair for desk and chairs for the small table. Weird that the tuner on the TV was not automatically set to come on when turning on TV. Rooms do not have the hotel interior lock - only the one you turn by hand. Not secure IMO. Some updates have happened to this older property but more needs to be done. Really bad: Safety! The doors to hotel interior are unsecured - anyone can come in as you do not need any key to enter/exit. The worst - some idiot pulled the damn smoke alarm at 6 am! The staff was rattled and it got turned off after about 6 minutes or so of ringing. So out of date. Common carpets are stained.

For the most part, things were fine, but there were a few issues. Two of the soap dispensers were off the shower wall, there was black smudges on toilet tank, there was pee on toilet seat, and there was a poop in the toilet.

The reviews and pictures are not like the place in person. The shower did work well and i liked that there is a restaurant right next door and a convenience store. It is really noisy and the bed was not comfortable. They do allow pets big and small so there was also alot of barking.

I came here with my husband and toddler to stay on the day before new years eve. The facility was overall clean including our room. The staff was very friendly and kind. However, we had a very bad experience because the walls are so thin and we could hear EVERYTHING our next door neighbors were doing including whoever was walking down the hallway and their conversations. If you want a place to stay that does not break the bank but not get a full nights rest then this is the place to stay. Its unfortunate that I had to give it a 2 stars, it is more like a 3 star inn but because of our experience that is why I give a 2.

Rose as the front desk was an excellent concierge! She is very knowledgeable and has a professional yet witty demeanor. I would give her a raise for sure! I was pleasantly surprised with The Aladdin. An older hotel but very clean and pleasant. The breakfast is continental but suited us fine. We will return for sure. Thank you Rose!
