Overall we had an okay experience with this hotel but it is not five stars and the bathroom is incredibly small you can’t even use the toilet without your knees touchy the bidet. The room itself is also small but the bed was very comfortable. The shower is terrible, probably the worst shower I have ever experienced and we have travelled a lot. No pressure whatsoever and not warm so you were actually freezing because there’s no door on the shower either. I had to buy dry shampoo as washing my hair would have taken so long and the small amount of warmish water ran out quickly. The location is second to none but the flights of stairs may be an issue for some with heavy luggage. Breakfast was okay but we weren’t told what we could have so we just had what was there on the table which was sugary treats and cereal. We were also charged 6 euro per night for two people for city taxes instead of 3 euro per night which is what is stated on ebookers and what we have been charged in other hotels so I don’t know why we were charged more. My husband forgot to say but hopefully they will rectify this for future guests. If they fix the shower, the sink also splashed everywhere and soaked the place and also left a small menu at breakfast then this place would be worth the money but for us it promised a lot and under delivered. We loved Sorrento though and highly recommend visiting as it is beautiful.
