Tucked away on 12 private wooded acres in South Bloomingville near Ash Cave, this newly built two-bedroom tiny log cabin offers an unforgettable retreat. Perfect for two yet accommodating for four, it provides a warm and inviting space to reconnect with nature and each other. The intimate design features a stunning stone fireplace, a handcrafted natural-edge wood island countertop, and a cozy ambiance that invites relaxation. Step outside to enjoy the hot tub with serene forest views—an ideal way to unwind after a day of exploration. While compact, this cabin is rich in character, blending rustic charm with thoughtful details to create a peaceful and welcoming escape. This secluded hideaway shares a driveway with Ash Cave Lodge and access requires an all-wheel or 4-wheel-drive vehicle to navigate the steep gravel driveway, adding a sense of adventure to your stay.

4WD/AWD Required

Ash Cave Cabin is an off-property lodge in South Bloomingville, just a 12-minute drive from The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls, including Kindred Spirits, the spa and the gift shop. Access to this lodge requires a 4WD/AWD vehicle due to the steep driveway. Located in the southern portion of the Hocking Hills, Ash Cave Cabin provides convenient access to area attractions, with most trails only 10-22 minutes away by car with Ash Cave being the closest. While each accommodation sits on it's own private lot Ash Cave Cabin can be paired with Ash Cave Lodge to keep larger groups close together.

Nice place for a small family

Cabin is small but cozy. Need to have patience with bathroom sink and shower size. If you have bad knees or a bad heart, you won't like the stairs or the driveway. Had 2 storms while staying and both times lost power for hour. Parking area will hold 1 vehicle only, needs to be a front wheel or awd drivetrain. There is stone but very steep driveway and a rwd/low sitting car won't do for this location. Don't bring to much for fridge, it's size of camper style. Small dogs will have issues with steps. Cabin was very clean, no odors, and quiet. A/C keeps up very well. Plenty of pillows in bedrooms and the shower has pre filled soaps. Internet is plenty to make wifi calls, Netflix, and surf, 25 down 3 up. No tmobile or verizon cell coverage in or out of cabin area :) Plenty of porch space and a grill with gas is available also. Overall, it's a nice place to book if you are a mom, dad, dog, and 1 child/teen/guest :)
