Right across from the Base Lodge parking lot is Himmel House which is a great restaurant for German-style food & beer. The Heavenly Gondola and Village is a short walk away, with lots of options for dining, shopping, and mountain activities. Tahoe Marina is a short drive away, where boats, paddle boards, and jet skis can be rented. The home is steps away from the Chonokis Road Trail and the Van Sickle Bi-State Park, which connects to some of the best hiking and mountain bicycling. This is the perfect home for year-round adventures in South Lake Tahoe.
