A contemporary home boasting 2,500 square feet of impeccable craftsmanship, this secluded mountain retreat is perfect for up to 6 people. Bring your furry family, home is dog friendly. A gorgeous open kitchen features granite countertops and hardwood floors. The deck opens up to easy access to nearby hiking, biking and snowshoeing trails. Ideal for skiers, this mountain paradise is just 4 miles to Heavenly and 12 to Sierra at Tahoe.

This home has comfortable sleeping and dining for a family of 8. No more than 6 people over the age of 5. This applies 24/7.

Parking is provided for up four vehicles maximum.

Upstairs living with cathedral ceilings: The great room includes the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The slider provides easy access to the deck for Barbequing or enjoying a book while looking out to the USFS lot. Enjoy the views each side of the gas fireplace that is accented with log and stone. The highly desirable open kitchen has a large pantry, granite slab counters, stainless steel appliances and hardwood floors.

The Master bedroom is also upstairs and features a large master bath, with 2 separate vanities, spa tub and separate stall shower.

Downstairs there are 2 nice sized bedrooms, a large game room/family room with pool table and a slider to a large deck with a hot tub. A few steps down from the deck takes you to a natural landscaped yard with easy access to the nearby trails. There is also a large laundry room, with a sink.

Outside: This home is surrounded by forest and with two adjacent lots committed to conservancy, you will feel like you are in a secluded mountain retreat. From the front or back, you have easy access to miles of trails for hiking, biking, or snow shoeing. Your just two blocks to Trout Creek where you can explore the shallows for, you guessed it, Trout.

Skiing is just 4 miles to Heavenly Resort and 12 miles to Sierra at Tahoe

Lake Tahoe: ride your bike or take a short car trip to enjoy the lake. Rent an SUP or Kayak at Lakeview Commons just 4 miles away or explore the calm of Emerald Bay or the crushing roar of the waterfalls feeding it.

Night Life: Harrah's, Harvey's, Mont Bleu and now the Hard Rock Casino all await you just 4.6 miles away. Try your luck at the game tables or slots or catch a great music act. South Lake Tahoe is a great draw for some of the biggest names in entertainment.

Very nice home with an update kitchen and living room, a great hot tub and fireplace. The bedrooms are a bit dated and the master bedroom's bathroom is pretty weird but still functional. A couple of the showers were only getting luke warm water. The beds were decent and the garage space/driveway space was great.

Amazing place, excellent service

We came up with our dog for the week - what a find! The house is wonderful, spacious and very dog friendly. Location is exceptional for walking access to several great trailheads. We found the hosts to be proactive, responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this property and will definitely stay again.

Peaceful Mountain Getaway

Terrific Stay at Heavenly Retreat

We have rented homes in Tahoe for over 15 years, and this was the nicest one we have had. The home is attractive, clean, and well-maintained. The kitchen is spacious, and extremely well equipped. There wasn't a single thing missing that we needed. Appliances are new and high-end. There is a pool table and nice outdoor decks. There is a hot tub,but we didn't use it. The neighborhood was very quiet and conveniently located. Two things for renters to be aware of are that there is not a door to the bathroom in the main bedroom, and there are a lot of rather steep stairs. That made arrival and departure, with the packing and unpacking a challenge for some people. Overall, we highly recommend the home. We were also impressed with the communications with the RNR Vacation Rental company. Through e-mails and texts, they provided thorough information and responded quickly to any questions. Thank you to the owners and to RNR for a terrific stay!

Wonderfully Clean Getaway

Fantastic home in quiet neighborhood

We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect, in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to most things in South Lake Tahoe, and the house was exactly as shown/described in the photos and listing. We enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, and upper deck most of all, but the entire house was spacious, clean, and well equipped. The only negative is the lack of complete window coverings in the main bedroom (seen in photos). We brought eye masks because the master bedroom (and honestly, most of the bedrooms) was flooded with light at sunrise. Bring an eye mask and it won't be a problem! The house was fantastic and we would love to return in the future.

Almost Perfect House

We couldn't get over how nice the house was. It was absolutely perfect for our little getaway. The living area and kitchen is so spacious and well stocked. The only thing we struggled with was finding television channels that would come in on cable. We ended up just logging in to our Netflix account. I would absolutely stay here again.

Relaxing Stay

Overall the cabin was wonderful! Very relaxing and accommodating. There were some little things that bothered us such as incredibly squeaky doors (we had little ones trying to sleep), the master bedroom’s door hinges need to be tightened (it drags on the carpet and you have to lift it to open and close it), the WiFi name and password provided were inaccurate, but we found the modem with the correct information. However, we would definitely stay here again and enjoyed our visit to Tahoe.

They have everything you will need in the kitchen for cooking. House is clean, inviting.the amount of stairs was a problem for some. There was a few things that needed some attention but A phone call took care of it. The upstairs tv is small difficult to figure out for the room. Downstairs pool table and tv was great to have.
